A small note: I wrote an extensive tutorial on how to transfer games on this link.

Wait a second here. Yes, I said that. But that doesn't mean it doesn't have AHBPROT support (it does, just like any other wii that has IOS58). The problem is the drive itself. If you follow the instructions in this post correctly, that can be solved. :)
I believe for directly loading GC games. I said if you load them with a Disc Adapter, i believe there was confirmation of GC games even working on the Disc Channel with Family Wiis with an Adapter

The disc adapter OR drive modification only works on the Family Wii; it's currently theorized that there's some AHBPROT issues preventing it from working on the Wii U.

I've never actually done it myself, and TECHNICALLY I don't think anyone has tried verifying a game via said methods in Devolution on a Family Wii...

HOWEVER! Considering that a Family Wii, particularly a model that would spit out GameCube discs, has been confirmed to be able to launch a GameCube game via the system menu just like a normal Wii, I think it's safe to say that you'd be able to verify a game in Devolution via the same method.

Just wanted to say to all those who just got here that you can use Devolution with the newest USBLoaderGX as Cyan is very generous in adding requested features to the loader and I am sure other loaders work as well^^

Yeah I just tried it on a few games. DDR Mario Mix works with it, but it's wonky and not really Widescreen lol

Yeah some games work really well and others not so much. It's a very general widescreen hack. Games that don't work well with the hack will need some specific modification that I'm sure is very time consuming. I wish I knew how to do it because I'd love to get these games looking really nice in widescreen.

As a user of USB Loader GX, I always seem to feel I've missed some sort of memo on where to download the newest revisions...

IKR! The program has an auto-updater, but it has never been used to my knowledge. Cyan why can't we update to the revisions with the built in updater?

Heads up for anyone who cares, I can confirm that Devolution fully supports using the analog shoulder buttons on the original Wii Classic Controller (the one without handles).

This was tested via F-Zero GX.

EDIT: Therefore it's very possible that this Mayflash GC-CC adapter may actually support Devolution's analog shoulder buttons properly:

As said in the Nintendont thread:

The classic controller pro functions the same as the original classic controller except it doesn't have analog L and R triggers.
Both of them have the same terrible stick sensitivity - the L stick ranges from 0 to 63 and the R stick ranges from 0 to 31 (and they are never calibrated properly). In contrast, the gamecube sticks and PS1/2/3 controllers all range from 0 to 255 and the wiiu pro sticks range from 0 to 4095.

Any adapter that functions as a classic controller would have limited range sticks.
i´m no longer hyped for that adapter.
The Mayflash GC to USB adapter should work better, i hope tueidj is willing to incorporate support in a future rev.

Well, has anyone having troubles with Luigi's Mansion's controls?

No matter what clntroller I tried (CC,CC Pro U etc.) it seems that ZR and ZL do not work at all.

It is certainly unplayable for me. :(

Auto-update works for Final/Stable/millstone releases, 2.2, 2.3, 3.0, 3.1, etc.
The auto-update of intermediate build has been removed.

Zelda windwaker freezes and returns to HBC randomly when opening chests or doors. Can you fix this issue

Im using a classic pro controller with memcard emulation and loading from my 16GB FAT32 usb flash drive

The newest beta versions are posted on this "thread" https://code.google.com/p/usbloader...colspec=ID Type Status Priority Owner Summary
so scroll down to the end and then start working your way up until you see a download link (usually mediafire) and that way you know you've got the latest.

You might want to post a WiFi log showing when that happens. See Nintendo Maniac's sig for a how-to.

i have a question... tried to find the answer but didn't find anything. wiiu pro controller is working on wii too? how? via usb? or bluetooth? :) thx in advance!

Thank you. Said thread was never linked in this here GBATemp thread nor in the NintenDon't one, and a Google search just pointed back to this thread, so I had to make sure.

Anyway, even if the CC/pro have "horrible" analog stick sensitivity, it still has the full analog stick range - it just has less "resolution".

Also, about adapters, wouldn't the issue depend on whether the limited analog resolution is because of the hardware rather than the software signal?
