Classic Controller support is not implemented yet. It is coming in the future.

Dang Sif, you've been busy lately (not just this post I'm quoting,) I'm sure you love repeating whats been said over a hundred times and probably close to being on every other page.. I admire your patience... Well closer and closer to CC support (BT Support) and hopeful USB support. I know the author stated keyboard support sooner or later and I'm hoping it will be sooner... Will we see this before CC support?

USB keyboard (and mouse) input is getting finishing touches, meaning you can use a keyboard to do stuff like reset, exit, switch discs, toggle the wii's screen dimming on/off... using it to emulate an actual GC keyboard controller still needs a bit more work though.

Very nice! Thanks for the info. But um..what Gamecube games ever used mice?
Note he said "actual GC keyboard controller", not "actual GC keyboard and mouse controller"; the mouse is presumably for other stuff e.g. alternative controls for some games (e.g. for people who prefer keyboard/mouse for FPS games) or stuff like reset, exit, switch discs etc.

I can't get devolution to run! I ripped my starfox adventures disc with cleanrip. I tried to run it from usb and sd card but as soon as I press A the screen goes black and after a while it returns to the home-brew channel. I tried both devolution and wiiflow (of course I placed the .bin from source code file into root:/wiiflow folder.). I know that the rip works because I've tested it with dios mios 2.3. Also I want to mention that my PAL Wii is having a washabi modchip. I just mentioned that in case it matters. Thanks

The modchip might matter.
Sometimes they can corrupt the ISO when ripping it or mess with Devolution when it's trying to verify it just enough for it not to be able to verify correctly. When cleanrip rips the game it should have made a file with some disk information in it. Open that up with notepad or in wiixplorer and see if the md5 on there matches the one that redump.org has for that game.

Thank you for the answer! Yes, the MD5 matches.. Maybe the modchip interferes while it tried to load the ISO... :(

Aslo I want to mention that I don't get any flashes at all...

From what I recall, a few people with Wasabi chips were not able to verify retail discs with Devolution. Unless the chip can be disabled, removal should fix the problem. Not sure why that particular chip has so much trouble with the AP.

I can confirm Wasabi DX is against Devolution. (no way to verify retail GC disc)
Excellent! That's great! I understand that I shouldn't complain, but I really don't understand why we need AP methods included in homebrew programs/loaders for a console (Gamecube) and games that are not being sold for many years now (at least in my country) and are not even present on virtual console. Anyway, I don't want to cause any trouble... I'm sorry and thanks for the help guys! I'll just wait and hope that DIOS-MIOS will support audio streaming some day...

Awesome! Thanks tueidj!

Prepare for a lot of complaints about having to use original disks to verify games though. And to be frank it does make the loader a bit useless as it HAS to be a cleanrip.
A working USB & SD loader for GC games is "useless"? Strange.
it's pretty useless if you actually need the disc .... LMFAO -.-

You need the disc ONCE. I have a few GC games and with the exception of TWO and a Half, they all work flawlessy. I don't have to switch discs, I don't have to worry about my drive breaking one day, I don't need a memory card and I don't have to worry about my discs one day being scratched, because the verification process is only needed once.

So no, it is NOT useless, it is a very handy tool that works quite well if you set it up right. And while I think that tueidj may sometimes sound a little off putting to some (i personally dont mind) it is perfectly understandable that he is pissed of with people complaining about his work methods when he is doing a FREE service FOR YOU. You should be thankful he does what he does instead of complaining about things that you dislike.
