mmmh, after enter the command line it appears an error: forward host lookup failed h_errno 11001: HOST_NO_FOUND

My Wii has internet connection, the Wi-Fi signal is pretty crapy though.

Anyway, if someone can test Rogue Leader, the Battle of Hoth stage, it exit to HBC right after the cutscene intro.

Glad we are all back, sad to say - I missed you all ;) So any updates tueidj?? Does more testing need to be done for GBA LINK, or has it been addressed?

That's odd, from some basic testing on my side Rouge Leader seemed to work fine. Could you specify EXACTLY where this happens so that I can confirm/deny it as well?

I`m glad we have GBATEMP running again.. well, resuming the early test I did again with GBA-GC compatible games, r159 works with zelda four swords using official GC-GBA cable (not freezing as with r160), still not recognizing unofficial one. Same happens to zelda wind waker.

The problem happens during Battle of Hoth mission, just after the intro cutscene.

Same thing happens to me during the Hoth stage.

Don't mean to start a quote pyramid but I can clarify that I have had the same crash at the same exact moment, on the Hoth stage right after the intro cutscene for the level.

Gambia, The
tueidj has already said that he intends to add this capability once classic controller support is available, as there will be plenty of spare buttons between CC and Wii Remote. I think he said he doesn't want to do it with a GC controller combo, but I guess it should be possible to have the buttons on the Wii Remote working for the purpose of reset/power off, while having the GC controller actually control the game.

Sorry to rise this topic again.
Is devolution already supporting this feature with the newest release (I read something about keyboard but not wiimote)?
It would be really great to restart the wii with a remote command in order to select another image (like in dios mios).

I do not believe this has been added yet, no. For now, it's just keyboard.

Still working our way back through Super Mario Sunshine. Had something really weird happen and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. We started Super Mario Sunshine and arrived at the title screen but with the colors all wrong (Mario had a blue hat - the sky was purple (or green - I don't remember)). I thought it might be a loose video cable but then I noticed that the on-screen animation was really choppy - I think it was running at half or maybe a third of the game's normal fps. I didn't want to damage the hardware (or our save file) so before my daughter could load our save I reset the Wii. We launched devolution and loaded the game again and it was fine - like nothing had happened.

I've placed my camera next to the TV in case it happens again. Sorry I panicked or else I'd have a picture to show. :(

This was through the sample loader? I used to have the same issue with the initial Devo builds of GX on 007 Nightfire / Mario Golf & Tennis. (It was a matter of video mode being improperly set before hand --- and as far as I understand, devo doesn't mess with it on its own)

I can confirm GBA <-> GC link functionality is bugged in r160. When I launch Four Swords Adventures with an official GBA <-> GC link cable and GBA plugged into controller port 1, the game code dumps visibly onscreen with a scrolling code dump text output(official Nintendo exception handler?):

What's weird is if I connect a Gamecube controller into port 1, and the GBA into port 2, it gives me a code dump over USB Gecko(same USBGecko output, so snipped), sometimes(I can't consistently reproduce it):

Furthermore, PSO episode 3 doesn't detect the modem emulator at all. It asks me to connect the modem adapter to go online. The USBGecko output reveals some insight:

The modem issue is existent in r159 as well. The GBA <-> GCN cable issue is not in r159; it works fine.

Features proposal:

Is it possible to create the varification files (.dvv) in the folder where the isos are located (means in the same directory like the iso)?
I use devolution via usbloader gx and wiiflow, and devolution is always creating an apps folder in the root of the USB device (which is in general not necessary, but must be placed for the .dvv). This is somehow confusing, especially for users who don't see any content in this folder.

So can devolution check in the apps folder and in the corresponding iso folder for the dvv file?

I may start using this when it gets WiiMote support. Any news on that? It's been a long time since this was released. I figured by now tueidj would have done something with it. It still peeved that i had to go out and find another working copy of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, because devolution refused to verify my original one. :/

As I see it, the mouse controls were the first step toward being able to use a WiiMote.
The fact that code is in place to use something else as a GameCube controller means the next step is "just" to add all the code to communicate with the WiiMotes (slightly complicated as I understand it) and it should be able to be fairly simply added onto the existing code.
