A little more info here about what kind of help you want? xD

I posted this:

I'm having an odd issue with Devolution when using it in Wii U.

I already have Ripped and verified my Zelda Collector's Edition in my Wii. There the app loads fine and all the games (Zelda 1, 2 OoT & MM) boot too, but when I try to load the game in my Wii U, it stays at a black screen.

I already tried other games and they all load fine, that's the only one I have issues with. Can anyone help me?

Oh and also all the GC games I boot on Wii U have black borders at the edges of the screen, the game doesn't fit it completely, but on the Wii they do fill the screen entirely.
I'm using HDMI cables on a 32" LCD screen.

I don't get it since the configurations and everything are not modified at all between consoles and I'm using r200

So far, only Collector's Edition has that issue in my Wii U, but the black borders issue persists in most of the NGC games I've tried, if not all. All those issues do not happen at all in my Wii.

You can't get rid off of these black borders, it's the ratio that vWii boots, it's present in Wii games, and VC games with original 4:3 aspect.
I think you could try enlarge the screen in Wii U mode settings and see if that works, not sure if that settings will transfer to vWii though.

But the Wii games I load from Wiiflow in Wii U boot just fine fitting the whole screen. I do the same with the NGC games but I hace like one or two inches of black borders when the games are in Widescreen. I tried moving Wiiflow's edges but nothing, I will try with the Wii U main screen configuration and see what happens.

I will also continue searching through to see if I can boot Collector's Edition in the Wii U. If anyone can give me some light on that, I'd be thankful

I got a 128GB USB flash drive for Christmas and was doing some Devolution science with it. As a test, I copied a 40GB FAT32 partition with all my GC games on it from my 750GB external HDD to my new 128GB USB flash drive.

It turns out that Devolution will not ask for re-verification if you copy your GC games' partition from one storage device to another via something like GParted. It will even work if you resize the partition larger or smaller.

However, other than using the sample loader, it would seem that USB Loader GX freaks out (read: locks up while loading) from the copied partition and need to be re-installed or something. I also had problems running Devolution's sample loader that had been copied during the partition copy, but running the sample loader that was on my SD card seemed to work fine.

Ok here is what I've found so far with the following games on a Wii U:

Resident Evil 4 ( NTSC): Odd resolution, the game does not stretch vertically completely making the screen look a little "crushed".
Resident Evil 2 & 3: One or two inches black borders on both games.
The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition: This is the one that bugs me the most, I've tried 480p, 480i in both PAL and NTSC and even tried 571p to see if it boots, but the game just stays at a black screen. In a normal Wii, it boots normally when set to default. I will trying makijg a clean copy of the iso again and doing the verification from scratch.

Aww, no reaction to my partition copying discovery? :( Guess it's a bit too technical for this crowd...

Can I found a list of supported controllers somewhere?

Is mayflash NGC to wiimote adapter works?
That mayflash adapter just makes it work as a classic controller, and classic controllers are supported.

Nintendo Maniac it's not too technical are u kidding me lol :-P

It's a nice find for convenience purposes when transferring your own games to a different medium, but in no way is it a method to circumvent AP so the "wow" factor isn't all there for me thats all, like i said though it's still a nice find :-) Now if copying partitions to a different medium would also let u play games on a different Wii w/o need for re-verification, then we would be onto something magnificent... Alas I don't think it would work :-( u should try it though lol and let us know how it goes.

. . . Snip . . .

That is fantastic news! Although my partition for GC games is 100GB if I remember correctly, I was always concerned about what would happen if it was no longer enough. You mentioned that the cloned partition wouldn't work under USB Loader GX, would that also be true for something like WiiFlow? Have you tested a simply resized partition in USB Loader GX?

No, I did not test a purely resized partition. Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure USB Loader GX would work fine if I essentially "re-installed" it. That'll be the next thing I'll test.

And btw, CloneZilla also works, but takes way longer than a GParted copy. Of course, CloneZilla also supports backing up a partition to an image file, so that's nice.

Just in case anyone was curious, the Dual Shock 4 does not work with Devolution. Maybe I just need to try again but I couldn't get the system to recognize any inputs. Might work with Nintendont, but that's all speculation.

There is a bug where the pro classic controller L and R buttons stop working while playing windwaker. Pushing up on the right analog stick acts as the R button. Most times, it fixes itself after a while. Hoping for a fix

Are you sure you're not just accidentally pressing the L button? (not ZL)

My bad. I mean the ZL and ZR buttons stops working. I get no response from them for a period of time. I disconnect and reconnect the controller. No change

No, I understood you. The L button toggles the shoulder button mode between using the digital ZL & ZR buttons and the right analog stick.

More info can be found in Devolution's readme.txt in the Apps\gc_devo folder.
