^This will get u crashing left n right if you dont exit to home after exiting RA, DONT USE LOAD RECENT, PLAYLISTS OR ANYTHING THAT SWITCHES/RELOADS NRO'S
All cores with GL slapped on them, some (like pcsx) perform worse due to some threading quirks.
Backup your whole RA installation before using this
None of the cores themselves utilize gl yet.

Don't annoy me with any problems for this

Well, time to get to testing.

si

sorry for stupid question but just want to be clear

so proper is exit retroarch which i believe will bring me back to hbmenu then i got to home from here no? What i am wondering is usually i run the retroarch nsp file these days and i just click home and then i think it's x to close it? Is that problematic?

on exfat i can't get this to run. I am going to try another go fat32 soon. What happens for me is if I use nsp and reinx it just does seem to find the cores when i go to information it says open gl no as well so i am a little clueless i even tried setting my core directory to no luck i can manual try to load the core but it fails to load is there a certain cfw i should use?

So it's better to have a second micro SD formatted in fat32 to run retroarch?
What precautions to run this in exfat?
Trying to search in this thread but not found, sorry

There are no real precautions that will save you. At any point if a crash happens, you close the apps incorrectly or any number of other things happens to may interrupt the write process; you'll lose your stuff. Fat32 is your precaution.

Only precaution is losing data if corruption happens. SD won't get damaged or anything. Been using exFat since day one and haven't had any issues. To be safe, make sure you use the RetroNX menu to "Close Content" when you're done playing and "Quit RetroArch" to close out.

this cores not work in 6.0.0, when I tried load a new core, the nsp send me application error

With the new legal Homebrew Menu nsp allowing emulators to be minimized (and apparently freeing up system memory compared to the album method) I noticed emulators don't pause in the lock screen or while the emulator/hbmenu is minimized. Though I'm not sure if this is caused by hbmenu or just the emulators not conditioning for it

Maybe we still need a function implemented in libnx for that to work....

Make sure video isn't threaded.
Needs NSP because of memory consumption.
Its buggy, don't annoy me.

I installed this using tinfoil but the software doesn't start. It says damaged Software. Is there anything else required to get this working like placing configs on SD or anything?? Thanks!
I'm on Firmware 5.1.0. not 6.0.0.

The same goes for me (5.1.0, SX OS 1.9, 400 GB - FAT32). Installed with Tinfoil, copied configs to retroarch folder. How do I get this to work? Could someone post a detailed procedure? Thanks!
