In a few weeks, i'll finally get my Year 9 netbook from school and intend on hacking it. Perhaps there are others here who will get one too but anyways. What we're getting is a Lenovo s10e. Once i get it, i intend to take out hdd and have a look at the registry. There must be something there that blocks .exe's booting...

    I will be getting one.
Shouldn't be too hard to run stuff, since last years ones, you just right click on an .exe and select Run as Administrator. xD

It's a netbook. It has no internal cd drive. It won't let you install foreign drivers.

    does it run batch files?
If so, you could make one and put
    CALL .exe
    in it.
Save as bat, run, and see if that works.

Nope. BIOS is also password protected. Would open it and change the CMOS Battery but the screws look foreign. also, batch files don't work.

I don't have microsoft office myself. But I remember a way of opening exe's with it. Just put a link in it, to a .exe, and then click on it, or control click on it, something like that.
