I was jumping on my wii for the first time in a month, and i turn on my wii, and my wiimote wont turn on.
Every attempt at pushing a button fails EXCEPT the sync button. Let me illustrate.

Ah, the sync button works, and i can sync it with my wii.
Problem is, whenever i want to go to a channel, or play a game, the wiimote shuts off any WILL NOT TURN ON unless i sync it up with the wii. This wouldnt be a problem, but when trying to update, the wiimote wont sync in mid-update. So i've come here for solutions. I hope i've explained my problem well enough, thank you.
