Hardware Misc desk setup recommendations

I want to upgrade my desk setup before I build a new PC. I am a gamer and digital 2D and 3D artist, and I can feel the strain of my current setup.
I've been doing research, and written down a list of features that I think might be best; I'll transcribe them here.

• desk
  • thin top: relax shoulders
    • no drawers above chair
  • short enough to have feet on ground w/o hunching shoulders
  • possibly sit/stand desk
  • leg room
  • deep: fit monitor, keyboard, and tablet/paper
• chair
  • back has room for elbows: thin at bottom
  • lower spine support
• ergo keyboard + mouse
  • maybe half-vertical mouse?
  • need expensive keyboard, need wrist rest
  • keyboard + mouse that don't grind on corner of palm
• block to lift monitor
• place to rest arm?
  • part of desk to the side
  • adjustable chair arm rests

My current desks are way too tall and not adjustable; adjusting my chair so my arms are level means my feet don't touch the floor at all.
My chair actually has pretty good lower back support, but its too wide and has hard edges.

(I sewed a blanket on because the mesh was kinda uncomfortable.) If I have my arms at a good height and angle, I end up bashing my elbows into the corners while drawing. It's for this reason that I think a gaming chair wouldn't work for me.

I tried a Logitech Lift mouse for a little while, and I could feel the difference! But I had to return it, because it was grinding on this spot on my hand.

Though, normal keyboards and mice also grind on that spot. But that means I think I need ones with wrist rests or something. I don't think I'd like one of those thumb-ball mice either. I feel like that would just strain my thumb.
I already have a nice block to lift the monitor up; I just have that written down to remind me.

Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations. Preferably not like super expensive? But if it's really that good maybe expensive would be worth it. I think I want to focus on the desk first, but I still want recommendations for all of these. And are there any other important things to consider that I missed?

I love my (discontinued : ( ) Ikea Mikael corner desk (gives bonus depth) - the curved cutout means I can make comfortable use of a wider area. I had previously used a straight 45° corner desk and was seriously considering taking a bite out of it with a hacksaw (and adding veneer to the curved edge exposed). The current Micke one is smaller and the storage at the sides is more enclosed - I use the open right side for my portrait monitor and I'm not sure this would be possible with the Micke.

You can get foot rests if the height of the desk leaves your feet hanging.

Do you use a half-glove? Some people use this when drawing, and it might help with mouse use too. I am left handed (diagrams and notes on drawing tablet, with breaks e.g. when my student is writing) but use the mouse with my right hand (computer navigation - 'upgraded' from Logitech Performance MX to their Lift - I only slightly miss the button to toggle the scroll wheel between clicky and free spinning, but the wrist position is much better; I have a Zelotes C18 on my gaming machine), so the grinding gets shared between two hands.

Been using a Flexispot standing desk for the last few years and have been a big fan of it.

Only issue I can see is, if you're tall and using a standard two left setup, there will be wobble which may drive you mad.

Am short so when it stands, it's quite stable and have to look for the wobble.
