How much ram can I put on this PC? Is there a new Video card that i can buy for it?

Unless I'm mistaken the Dell Inspiron 1100 is a laptop. The max memory it can take from a quick google search is 512mb of ram per slot, so 1GB total. Seeing as it's a laptop, you can't really upgrade much besides the ram and hard drive.

No. The max from the two slots combined is 1GB. Meaning each individual slot can take a max of 512mb. Also do be aware it will only take a certain speed ram. I suggest you google for more info.
