So my ps4 automatically download the new system update but it didnt install it. I think i figure out a way to delete the update with wiping the whole system.

1.Go into safe mode and select update system software
2.select from internet
3.once it starts hit O to cancel it
4. Reboot and go to notifications
5. Should be able to delete the update now.

I looked and didn't see this method anywhere, if it was than i didnt look hard enough. If anyone else has luck with this comment so it can be used to help others. Also dont know if i posted this in the right spot sorry if i did not.

What OFW are you on currently?

Hmm, I'm sure notification actions changed between 4.05 and 4.55, they aint what they used to be... as for 5.05, I dont think the latest updates are mandatory (5.53-5.53-01), so might be easy to remove update nag as you mentioned.

Would be good to hear from others who can test this on other FW's.

Thanks!
