I'll try to make this short:

How in the world do I would I get a FULL cart dump of a 4GB cartridge? Decrypt9WIP (Whatever the version was on Github this morning) appears to cut it off at ~1MB less than the full cart, annoyingly.

Any tips or ideas? Thanks!

Edit: For the curious, the game in question is Pokémon Sun. I like having verifiable game dumps! :)

Use GWs dump. SuMo aren't 4GB alone, mire so 3GB

Oh I just thought you meant the .3ds, hmm. @KazoWAR may be able to help you?
I do mean the .3DS file, but one that I dumped myself! :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

gateway 's software, it without the real cart for most of it... so you can just use the rip option...
I don't have a Gateway flashcard, nor do I plan on getting one, but I want to dump copies of my games as simply as I can. From 200MB carts to 4GB ones.

Launch Gateway (if you are on A9LH, there's a guide out there to run it in A9LH, if you're on Menuhax, then use the launcher.dat to run it on the browser(O3DS) or Homebrew Launcher(N3DS, but works on O3DS too)

IIRC, .3ds dumps from Gateway are full, with garbage and stuff

You can't install the garbage data on a .CIA because the .CIA is made to remove it sadly, it makes it so people can install more games on the SD card...sorry

I believe the point of my question is being missed.

I do *NOT* have a Gateway card. I am NOT asking about installing the game.

I only want a fully dumped copy of the game, garbage data included. I can look at installing stuff later on.

Oh! Then read what I said before, Gateway dumps it completely, including the garbage data, and you don't need the Gateway card to launch its menu, just the needed files :)

You can use the Gateway launcher to dump games without actually owning a Gateway card. It actually dumps the private header too (unlike Decrypt9 last I checked). 4GB ROMs will be dumped to two files: a *.3d0 and a *.3d1, which will need to be combined after copying to your hard drive, since FAT32 can't hold 4GB files.

Okay, that makes WAY more sense. Where might one get all the required files for an already A9LHed 3DS?

Thank you both, by the way.
