imo, you are better of getting a new psp, as the ds can't offer you much apart from shovleware, a few gems, but not enough to keep you constantly playing, you can do a lot more with a psp in terms of homebrew anyway.

well, I just picked up a used DS off of craigslist with Pokemon Diamond, and i'm happy with the change. the DS feels very natural, its very light ( I got the light version) I like the feel of the buttons. The matte finish on the buttons are a nice change to the "slippy" buttons on the psp.

As far as shovelware goes, PSP is just as guilty unfortunately. and the good games are just that "good" I have never seen a PSP game that I would call excellent, except for the unreleased Yggdra Union for the PSP. I played it on GBA and it was an awesome game.

I really didnt like the Analog nub for the PSP, and I think that the touch screen is a nice change for the better.

as far as the game selection for the DS, I Have played many games on the emulators for the PC, so i'm very happy about my choices.

I guess its all about preferences. I'm a hardcore gamer at home, but a casual one on the go. if that makes any sense.anyway, I'm happy with my purchase overall.

Well, at least he just snatched your PSP, not some of your money or credit card along with it

anyway, did you buy your DS yourself or your parents? (assuming you're 15 or so)

What would I be doing playing with my wallet and credit cards?

I always keep my wallet on a chain anyway.

and I'm 23 by the way, and no, dammit, i'm not too old for video games. I'm married, and I have a shitty job. Video games are my only escape >_<
Well, if he took your credit card and wallet along with your PSP, you'll be left penniless and unentertained

and you can't buy a DS to fulfill your entertainment need

30 is even still cool to play video games, video games are made by people ranging from 20-45, hell even 60 is still good, how old do you think Nintendo owner is?

he's old, and he sleeps with Mario and Link all over his wall

Sorry to hear about your PSP being jacked, but I live in Vegas, and no ones tried to take anything from me. Maybe you should watch people more closely in N. Town?
