hey i just ordered my cyclo ds yesterday fron dealwoot and i live in san jose california
then today it said complete does that mean they r starting to ship?
how long would it take to get here
and do i use firmware 1.14 or 1.5 BETA 1

anything else i need to get started?

From what I hear, it takes about 3 days or less to ship to the west coast.

Setting up the CycloDS is pretty easy. It comes with an internal firmware, so all you have to do is put in the microSD, and then it'll create the system files.

To update the CycloDS after that, just put the update files in the root directory of your microSD. It'll update the next time you go to the Cyclo menu.

well, i got something from them in about 1 day (or maybe 2)
i live in so cal, so maybe only 2 days tops to your location
theyre located in pasadena so yeah

oh ok im gonna use my r4 micro sd 2 gb so do i just delete all the r4 stuff and keep the games on?

Yeah, you can just delete the R4 system files.

how do you do the in game menu combo and the in game text reader thing combo

Let's first take a look at the 'Enhanced Mode' feature. This is a menu that appears in-game at any time by pressing the button combination - L+R+A+B+X+Y. This option needs to be enabled within the CycloDS Evolution settings menu for it to work.

The CycloDS review has a lot of stuff about setting things up and whatnot.

(I don't have a CycloDS so if I'm wrong, please correct me.)

to enable RTS, hold select, and then click the game

It's RTS and it stands for Real-Time Save.

Basically, it lets you save anytime, anywhere. Even during a boss battle you normally couldn't save at.

And you mentioned Real-time guide before. To use it, you need the 1.5 Beta firmware. Put a .txt file with the exact name of them ROM it's for in the root folder of your MicroSD. Then, activate in-game menu and you can select to view the text file.

It ships through USPS so it'll be in your mailbox.

If you ordered yesterday, then it most likely got shipped today. Since they usually ship the day after you placed your order.

Wouldn't be surprised if you found it in your mailbox tomorrow. =)
