I have an intel-based macbook (OSX Leopard). Was wondering if using the disk utility to burn my ISO onto a DVD-R is working for other folks. I keep having issues with my DVDs and was wondering if that's the issue.

Other mac owners - what do you use to get your backup running?

Also - is there a simple way to patch the ISO on a mac (as right now i have the .exe file and need to do it on the windows side of my mac).

thx for ur help!

disk utility works fine for me on my macbook with superdrive and there is an ISO patcher for osx (think it's in the .1 loader thread) but it runs through terminal so no GUI and 2 games that I patched with it couldn't be recognized but others worked fine. You could try it maybe it will work for you but if not just use paralells or bootcamp, that or use the .3 loader which ISOs don't need to be patched for :-p

Disk Utillity also worked fine for me. If by 'ISO pacther' you mean something to change the region of the iso, try WiiJunkies as that worked fine for me.

go jailbreak ur iShite.

No, I am just smart enough to choose an operating system that actually works how it's intended to. Getting anything to work on Linux is a humungous ordeal. I'd rather pay for something and have it work well than get something for free that barely works at all. (and yes I have used linux many times, even the most user-friendly versions like Ubuntu, and none of them compare with Mac, or even Windows for that matter)
