So, I was trying to update my acekard 2i through a ds lite (wanted to use it on my 3ds) when the whole thing remained stuck on 0%. I turned the ds off and now neither consoles are able to recognize the flashcart.
Is there any way to fix it?

Idea #1:
Start the Acekard firmware updater with another flashcart and insert the bricked Acekard once the updater is loaded and try reflashing. There is some more information on [Wikitemp] Updating the AK2i Bootloader
Maybe another firmware revision will work for your cart if the one you have doesn't. Get some here. The Google Drive links still work.

Idea #2:
Use the restore function of ntrboot flasher - like you would after using the ntrboot method. [The Guide] Removing ntrboot. Because you did not use ntrboot flasher before you won't have a backup; Getting the Flashrom requires using torrent.

Idea #3

Weird enough: Starting the Acekard firmware updater by uploading it from a Wii with Homebrew Channel to a DS is possible bypassing the need for another flashcart. I successfully uploaded the updater to a DS-Lite but did not actually test flashing my AceKard 2i though ("If it's not broken: Don't fix it!")

If your DS-(Lite|Phat) does not have FlashMe this requires "DS Download Station - Volume 1" for Haxxstation (You have to find it on your own – Nintendo copyrighted material). Manual and Download for this cool Wii homebrew app:
