Hacking DDR Pad not working with wii gator?

I just bought two DDR pads from ebay and today I received them and tried them on wii gator.

The game can run very good but seems the pads are not working at all... I am not sure whether it's a compatibility problem or it's only something wrong with my pads? Is there any one who met the same problem? I saw DDR is on the compatibility lists for gecko and seems it should work very well...

If you are talking about DDR Hottest party 2 then it's not the loader that's the problem it's the game. The final retail version has support for little to no 3rd party mats

your problem is the game support not the loader support , sorry , try to resale it for a couple of dollars lose !! hopefully

Download Stepmania or In The Groove for your PC. Much better =p

It's a DDR 1... Seems the loader problem stops the pad working right?

Now I am thinking whether I should buy a game or sell the pads... or wait for new release of wiigator?

DDR Mat from the Hottest Party 1 works Ok with the HP2 on the wiigator - for me at least.

But yes, it appears that some 3-rd party mats have compatibility problems with the HP2 (license) - call it "fair play" and "competition" for Konami
