I am trying to dump my games and it's starts out fine. Then the game boots after being frozen on the splash screen. That's after dumping the save and it just stops dumping completely no matter what game I choose. I have an all digital library if that means anything.
Which WiiU path did you try ? only /vol ?
did you try subfolders instead of root? /vol/content or vol/code for example.
Maybe the issue is dumping the savegame and it freeze when /vol/save is dumped, so trying a different folder instead of dumping them all could maybe fix your issue.

edit:
maybe I didn't understand correctly.

Do you mean it's not frozen? it's actually booting correctly?
the "frozen splash screen" is the place where the dump is done. After the dump is complete, the game boots normally.

if it dumps only the savegame, maybe you typed /vol/save ?
try vol/content and vol/code now, or just /vol

Hi, I'm trying to dump Smash 4 and there are a couple of files that titledumper seems to be struggling with whenever I try to dump them.

The two files that crash the program are the Mewtwo video in vol/content/movie/ and whatever vol/content/patch/data/fighter/lucas/model/body/100/packed is.

When it comes across both of those, it says "Client 0 connection closed", stops downloading anything, and the wii u just stops working (as in the splash screen goes away but the game doesn't start, it just acts like nothing's plugged into the tv even though the wii u stays on and the disc keeps spinning).

It seems like these are completely arbritrary points to crash, but it always happens at the same point for both files (for example, at 3300 kb into the mewtwo file, it always stops there).

Does anyone know why this happens? Is it a problem with my disc/wii u or is it something I need to fix on my computer?

If I back out of the game it finishes.

I successfully dumped a couple of smallish games. I disabled the auto power down on my Wii U.

When I tried to do Smash Bros. I started having problems. It seems to be stopping in the middle. I am thinking my computer is going in to sleep mode and that is screwing it up? Will the titledumper not prevent the PC from going to sleep?

If sleep is the problem where in Windows 10 do I control the setting in order to turn it off during dumping?

Can this give me file for the game so I can play it on the cemu emulator?
Dump the game, open the /vol/code/whatever.rpx from cemu. Whether the game runs or not is in cemu's hands.

Does it give me the wud or wux file?
No. DDD gives you the files that are visible the way the WiiU mounts/reads them. It does not give you a disc image, because it's not working at that low of a level.

How can I dump a game that requires an update? Either I block Nintendo's update servers and it won't let me start the game, or I block the WiiU from accessing my router, period. Do I just have to enable updates or is there another solution

Hi guys, I need some help.
I dumped my Euro Mario Kart 8, with both DLC. The game is updated, but the problem is the DLCs are blocked. I search the loadiine code for the euro retail game, and renamed the folder.
Inside this folder, I put the "aoc0005000c1010ed00", "code", "content", "meta", and "save", but the game is like no-DLC, and I'm using the SSB disc to load it. What I'm doing wrong?? I'm pretty sure I dumped the game correctly, but I don't really know what to try or test right now.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Ok, it works now. My LoadiineGX was a little obsolete.

I have a 5.5.1 U console and the ddd seems to work fine dumping all /vol --- but when I try to run it on loadiine, it just flashes the "black screen/loading bar" for a microsecond and then jumps back out to the main games rotary display screen. None of my dumped games seem to work, but all the downloaded ones so far run fine. The only game that I had to compare was Wii Sports Club --- and the only difference seems to be the files in the /vol/code folder (content/meta files all have the same hash). Was there another step after dumping the /vol/code with ddd that I am supposed to do to alter the rpx/rpl files so that they will work? Or was this just a 5.5.1 glitch? I'm already using the latest ddd v0.3 and loadiine gx2.

Is it this issue?

https://github.com/dimok789/ddd/issues/16

If you do not use a full path for the game folder, it corrupts the \code folder and you get the dreaded 160-2203 error when running in loadiine.

eg. "titledumper /vol ./gameName" works, but "titledumper /vol gameName" corrupts.

Thanks for the quick reply. No, that does not seem to be it. I just tried it again and it generates the same exact files as before (confirmed with crc32 checks)...just for kicks I dumped to my MacBook and it dumps the same exact files as my Windows7 so I still have unusable /vol/code files it seems.

Going to try dimoks udpdumpreader to see if I can see what, if any, error and posthat my results...

Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with loadiine/dumping. I'm trying to dump super Mario 3D world, and I'm pretty sure it worked, I set up titledumper.exe and dumped the game, along with the meta folder by pressing the home button afterwards. Then I made sure that the folder had the title key in it, and made sure code content and meta were the next three sub-folders. Then I copied it to my sd card and it didn't work. It was listed in loadiine, but when I launch it in the correct mode, the loading pops up but never progresses. I think it has something to do with the missing RPL files? But the tread only says Play the game with the server running to get them. I don't know at what point they are loaded into memory. Help would be awesome!
Thanks

If you are blocking Nintendo updates using Chncdcksn DNS and/or Tubehax DNS, you can download nnu-patcher, which when you run it in homebrew, it unblocks the servers, (meaning you can update games) until you restart your Wii U, enter settings, or open Mii Maker and back out to homebrew. Then once your game is updated, uninstall nnu-patcher and dump the game.

First, do you have any games that do work in loadiine? It would be good to know if we're trying to help fix a problem with one specific game, or if it's a general problem. What does "in the correct mode" mean? Does loadiine say what it's loading on the pop-up? What version of Loadiine GX2 do you have? (current nightly is b80ba75)

At its simplest, you should have sd:/wiiu/games/Super Mario 3D World [ARDE01]/code with app.xml cos.xml and an r*c*.rpx file (don't know if game-specific full file names are allowed). Of course, you need more files to actually load the game (my content folder has 2988 files, 1.56GB), but the code folder is all you need to see the progress bar go across.

Confirm that the rpx name matches what's in the argstr in cos.xml

That's the file that you should see on the progress bar. Since it's 6.89 MB, there should be enough time to see the bar going across. If you have at least those files, and this is your first attempt at getting loadiine to work, check the loadiine thread for solutions to common problems including SD card formatting and folder names. Otherwise, try redumping just the /vol/code folder. It should only take a couple minutes.

Had issues dumping Xenoblade Chronicles X the other day. It freezes after ~10gb on the same cpk file each time (chr_wd.cpk?) but didn't see anyone else having close to the same issue on here. Fully dumped 2 games successfully already so it should work. Thoughts? there were no disc smudges i could see.

AWW man super sorry I actually tested it and super Mario 3D world works fine but just with long loading times. I meant to say New super Mario bros U is stuck on the loading bar. Everything else I've dumped works fine. And by in the correct mode I mean the loadiine compatibility list says I should launch it in Mii maker mode, so that's what I did. I'm not sure what version of loadiine Gx2 I have, but I can try it on the latest nightly. I also will try re-dumping it in case that helps.
