Homebrew Official ddd - WiiU Title Dumper

If anyone has The Walking Dead Survival Instinct for Wii U, it also had trouble dumping anything other than the RPX (cobalt.rpx iirc) if someone wants to give it a go with the new version. Can try to borrow it again sometime if not.

I have dumped this game with old version of ddd without problem but it is eur pal region

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't tried to dump it in a long time, was not sure if anyone had tried. I will borrow it again and check to be sure though since I'm using an US release. Glad to know it can be dumped though.

The dump doesn't start with this game it continues playing as normal

i can confirm that i also tryed, but ddd never even launches and the game starts normaly.

Did you set the IP it showed on screen to your computer's local IP? That's the important thing

Not sure, are you using A to boot directly to disc or X to go back to menu

I have a problem with dumping the meta folder of mario kart 8.

I already dumped the whole /vol to my pc. So I have the folder D:/Games/Mario Kart 8 [AMKP01]/vol with 3 subfolders code, content and save. Now I want to dump meta, but that does not work. On my pc I typed
titledumper.exe /vol/meta "D:/Games/Mario Kart 8 [AMKP01]"

The I started ddd with Mario Kart and the game started. After that I pressed the Home-Button and I get to the Home-Menu. After pressing the Home button again the game freezes. And the command line tool on my pc also does nothing. And there is no meta folder in the pc path.

Any ideas what I did wrong?

for the meta folder you can also download an update file with jnustool and use the metafolder from it

but with mk8 i think there was a problem with the freeze on home button -> known bug

So, jumping onto the Wii U 5.5.X public kernel exploit hype, I'm trying to run this to dump some system titles of mine.

The tutorial says that I need an executable called "title_dumper.exe", but I can't figure out where this is. Any ideas?

Once you get that message, you should try launching your game and waiting for a bit at the splash screen. If it's loaded right, the game shouldn't load and will freeze on the splash screen, and it will begin dumping content to your PC.
