Hi,

I used homebrew and hacks only to install newest firmware with Choidujour. Today when I started the Switch out of Standby Mode all downloaded gamedata was gone, when I want to start a game i get the prompt that data is missing and I also got the update-to-use-sdcard prompt(exfat). I heard of the exfat corruption bug but I didn't even have game data on there, it was all on NAND, not full yet. How can that happen?

And is Auto RCM affected now that SD-Card can't be read anymore?

you have to turn off Auto rcm , before updaqting ,and re enable it if you want to , after it has been updated .

exFAT is firmware-specific. Installing it once on an earlier firmware only applies it to that firmware, not the entire console. Whenever you update your firmware, you also have to reapply the exFAT patch.

Yes, I did. Also this was not the first time booting after installing a new FW, I am on 6.1 for some weeks now.
No idea yet why all my data is gone.

Your SD card may have been corrupted in that case.
I am not even sure if any Game Data was on there. At least most of the stuff was on NAND.

Can I be sure that auto-RCM is still active or should i start with jig and Vol+ pressed next time?
And what is the easiest method of adding the exfat update?

If you updated officially, AutoRCM has been removed because boot0 needed to be overwritten which is where AutoRCM is installed. And the easiest way to add exFAT support is with ChoiDujourNX.

No i didn't update officially. Ok so I should be safe, I will download all data now and then install the exfat drivers again... hope this doesn't happen more often.

Edit: Ok i know why it happened now, somehow my switch must have installed FW 6.1.0 while in Standby... I didn't do anything but now it shows that FW in the settings. Well not too bad, but I waited so long on 4.1 and now that^^
