i am on reinand emunand 10.6 say i wan to use one of the ar codes with a cia what do i do?
there is no explaination on how to use the codes i know how to use GW menu but i don't want to use these with roms i want to use them with cia is that possible? how?

@storm75x Think you could make the QR dumper just dump 64MB instead of 128? dont think anything uses more than 64.

It works the same way with CIA as it does with ROMs. Just assign in-game menu like usual and open it in game. Make sure you have cheat files downloaded to your GW red card Micro SD first.

The one on duke_srg's site (dukesrg.no-ip.org) allowed you to set how much memory it dumped. His site's down though so I can't prove it I guess. I tried using the same URL arguments with yours that his uses but it didn't work.

Welp, I'm trying to dump the memory of Tales of the Abyss using the QR code fort42 provided me, but the process just hangs on "Executing..." How long is this supposed to take? I waited a solid 5 minutes with no progress and no bin file. Could I be going about this the wrong way? I assumed you just needed to have the game running, press the home button, then scan the QR code and all would be well. Y it not wurk? Am I stoopid?

Try again. I know with Rxtools it would just black screen when it went to load the browser and I'd just have to load it again or a couple times. I'm using aureinand with a9lh now and it works every time... Imagine you don't need a9lh to achieve that, probably has something to do with aureinand not having an arm9 thread.
Also I assume you know you need to be on 7.x or above with the 9.2 browser to use spiderhax, right?

Version spoof the 9.2 browser to something huge and install it over the current browser.
if you don't spoof, ninty will see its not updated and youll get an update nag.
Though, you may be able to just find it online - without going through the effort of downloading it from ninty and spoofing the version, making a new cia yourself.

I read a bit about the exploit, and it seems like it's only possible on O3DSs? I'm using a N3DS with reiNAND.
How do I get a 9.2 browser and how do I spoof it?
What is the installation like? Do I replace system files on my SD card or will it be a cia to install, or...?

Oh, yeah. I forgot about that... it can't work on n3ds.
you'd have to give NTR a whirl, and I have no idea how to make plugins for it.. only how to use its debugger, which was pretty hard to grasp at first, too.

AR3DS requires O3DS on FW 7.x+ with 9.2 browser installed. Once you have the above requirements you just have to scan the QR Code with your O3DS to activate a code. Come on, it's written in the OP.
GateShark requires GateWay. Obviously.

no it just opened a page in the browser
then i pressed home suspended the browser and launched the game with the browser suspended

That means you haven't downgraded your browser. What region console are you using? I'll PM you the downgraded and spoofed browser.

Why people keep using the complicated and inefficient AR3DS?
No complain against these guys, maybe there is not enough money to buy a Gateway, but it's WAY more comfortable.

I find it rather easy to access, given you have an O3DS and you don't have GW. Way easier than NTR.
