i know don't post here since always i knew my way around everything but today and Yesterday i been having issues with
brawl :'( I never did 1.9G update because while wen Mario Galaxy Was Out I Try the update with wiikey 1.9g I Got the error Check Your Connection.
but yesterday i read that in Oder to ply brawl your wii need to be update 1.9g so i did a lot research and i found a way to get around with the error i did the inject method and i got Homer say your nuts
then i put

Brawl And I Click The Wii Game ICON stared to star updating i was so happy

but then i got that error saying you error: 001 unauthorized
but why

i already did 1.9G update and i Load Mario Galaxy I Get Same Error i got the dual channels so i know the brawl update worked.

any knows a way to fix this

so you put the config disc in the wii, you pressed A to scan, then your pressed A again to update, and then you put brawl in right? make sure you put brawl in when it says reboot mario galaxy.

Yeah, I'm sorry

But indeed the "eject" method doesn't really work (at all). It sort-of bypasses the whole update. Sure, you hear hommer voice, but the disc wasn't even inside while the update was supposingly taking place, so no update really occurred. It only SEEMED like it was working, but it isn't. You still have 1.9b and therefore Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros and a few other new games won't work.

First thing would be to be sure you have a wiikey. Perhaps you have some other chip? I guess you are sure, but just saying, in case you are going nuts and you happen to need some totally different upgrade path.

Unfortunately the only way to (try to) fix this issue is by opening the wii and rechecking the wiikey connections. Probably one of them is faulty. Also, would need to make sure that the voltage and grounds are really solid (i.e. if using wires, you would need to make sure they are thicker or use two of them for each, the voltage and the ground).

Sorry but no way to even attempt to fix this w/o opening the wii. Some people have had luck "moving the wii around" (i.e. turning it to the side, upside-down, etc) to get a better contact long enough to run the update after many retries. But be very careful, running the update without a good solid contact like the update program is telling you could leave you with a non-working wiikey.
