Alright. Thought you may have been unaware since you need the wayback machine to access it.

There's a fairly up-to-date list on daedalusx64.wikia.com, which is good enough for me. I actually wasn't aware of that list, I had to make sure, but it does appear there are some differences. Thanks for the consideration!

@Durelle - All you need to do is create a folder on your PSP at /PSP/GAME/ called "Daedalus" or whatever, and then drop the EBOOT.PBP file in there and ROMs in Daedalus/Roms/. There's a proper instruction guide on the GitHub repository readme. Also, can anyone clarify what are the rules surrounding advertising Discord servers on GBAtemp? I'd drop a link here but I don't know if I'm allowed to.

Lol I know how the structure works, I got a older version that I tested a few months back. But the GitHub page you posted didn't have a eboot (not that I could find)

Ahhh, derp the mobile view is weird, had to use desktop view >.> .alright so I got the eboot and the rat from 1.1.2 now to ftp them to my Vita and see how it works.

apparently they messed up releasing 1.1.2. anyhow getting the rest from 1.1.2 cause blue screens a lot on my end and switching back to 1.1.1 fixed it all.

Hmm well first rom I tried, loaded right away without sound, I then tried to enable sound, and all I get is a black screen... Disabled audio and now it's still a black screen lol...

Hmmm

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@Poudink is this the screen you got?
I did as you suggested got the 1.1.1 rar then replaced the eboot with 1.1.3

The game played for a few seconds then I got that.

@TheMrIron2

This is without sound btw

-edit-

seems when I tried to enable sound I think it caused a issue with the ram dump. Restarted the device and it runs the ROM without sound and no blue screen, but still get a black screen when trying to use sound.

@Arecaidian Fox Well we all had an interest in daedalus and we thought "Well, why not do something with it?" and here we are, knee deep in publicity.

@Durelle - sometimes Daedalus doesn't like it when it suddenly has to emulate sound mid-game, just decide beforehand in future and it should be fine :D

I'm glad, lol. I just wish my PSP was still i working order. I think part of the NAND is dying, my profile storage keeps getting corrupted.

That's a shame. Hope my Go sticks around for the foreseeable future since I'm invested in three different PSP projects right now; I'm working on Daedalus with a few others, I'm working on DSonPSP with a similar group (and DraStic/gPSP developer Exophase) and on Project Frost, a game built on the idTech 2 engine designed for PSP, with a friend.

Mine's a Go as well, put a microSD mod in it and got Infinity and everything working on it, all the plugins I wanted... But then I started noting the corruption, not being able to load PSP saves and eventually the dreaded blue settings screen. I can boot into recovery and mount the flash as USB to clean it out and fix it, but it only works for a little while. I plan on getting another, unless I get a better phone and an 8BitDo controller first XD

Hey Durelle, that's an issue it seems. Unfortunately, as you are using a Vita, it's a pretty different ball game. You see, sound in Daedalus is handled by the PSP's massively underutilised Media Engine chip. Since it wasn't available for commercial games, Sony barely emulated it for Vita, so as a result audio errors may very well be caused by this hardware/emulation discrepancy. We're sorry about this being the case, but we would have to rewrite the audio code to run on the main CPU just for a "Vita version"... we have a lot of stuff to do so it's not a priority, especially since all of us are PSP users. We'll get around to it eventually, we just can't say when.
