Hacking d2x cIOS installer issues

Every time I open d2x, it goes through the initial setup stuff, but as soon as I exit the credits, I get the following error:

Bad control character 0x0e not allowed by XML standard
Unable to get the module MLOAD for the v10 beta53 d2x-beta52-vWii cIOS base 56

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. II've dumped my NAND, I've dumped my keys. I'm using Homebrew Launcher v 1.1.2 on IOS58 v25.32 if that makes any difference, and I can provide any additional details that are needed

Alright, reinstalling d2x fixed my first issue, but now I'm having a different issue: My controller simply doesn't work after getting past the credits.

I'm was having a problem too. It would give me an Exception ISI occurred message. It had a crap ton of code below, and then a line below the code, it said code dump and nothing was in the code dump. It got me frustrated, but continuing to try running it did the trick eventually.
