Hello how to add Cyrillic fonts to the game

Step one: Add the Cryllic.ttf file to the Fonts folder of your engine.
Step Two: Implement the font into your game.
Step Three: ????
Step Four: Profit.

I'm running Koibana Days in ppsspp Latin and hieroglyphs works and where Cyrillic should be there is a void.
