So your only point is that the cheats are sucky on CycloDS and the microSD sticks out a bit? OK. I guess you're right. The CycloDS *is* a piece of crap.

Perhaps come with constructive criticism next time instead of simply calling people names for choosing their favorite card (that happens to not be the one you own). It really makes your argument look child-like.

Either way, the CycloDS is my choice as the best card and I own both. I don't like the GUI of the SCDS1 and I don't like the build quality.

I love the way people describe this as a feature. Like if your shoes came with laces that are too short to tie, they would say it was a feature to make taking them off even easier.

EDIT: To the original poster, don't listen to sidneyyoung, this person trolls the forum flaming in any CycloDS comparison thread available. The fact is that the CycloDS is not crippled with its cheat codes, and actually the GUI for cheats is MUCH nicer than the GUI for enabling cheats on supercard. I'd like to see you try NDS Wii pokemon link on supercard - it won't work! sidneyyoung, chill out eh?

Wow, what complete bollox, the cyclo does have a size restriction for cheats, it's a well known fact. I remember our last post to post where i caught you red handedly lying about owning a supercard, but really you caught yourself out by not having enough brain to remember what you posted previously in the same thread.. retard

I dont have either, but I've been reading and researching, I have to say that the Cyclo is my favorite but I'm a little biased to it as I just dont like Supercard. I dont know why, I've never had any experience with it, or Cyclo, but I have my heart set on Cyclo and I'm trying to wait for the initial "high" I get from wanting something to pass so that I can do a more level headed search of Flash cards

I admit I love the Scds1, but I also admit that CycloDS Evo is a very good flashcart. It's just that I prefer functionality over nice GUI and when it comes to those things the Scds1 beats the CycloDS (this is just my opinion).

Hi everyone, this thread is funny to read

I'd thought I would just everyone know that i have a SCone-ds first generation with no SHHC support but I'm still very happy with it, it plays all the roms and has good expert features like RTS. I love the way the cart gets better with age thanks to the Supercard team support, tho I do wish I could use the bliss loader so I could have 3 different menus to choose from.

Personnaly I wouldn't put any emphasis on the 'big cheat' xml support because it's crap compared what you can do with the 'real time' system the supercard has, I make my own cheats with the 'real'

codes not available to everyone else.

Whoa, a lot of tension on this thread. Well, speaking as someone that has owned and used several different cards, I am now exclusively using my CycloDS Evo. The build qualitly is solid, and I've had a lot of fun with the cheats and no limitations at all. I run lots of music and video and the quality is superb. The gui interface is clean and easy to use, and support is second to none, which is one of my biggest issues. Plus, the new firmware is the best I've seen. Since I have tried the Cyclo, and compared it with several other cards, it is all I will buy for myself, or as gifts for friends and family.

I know there are a lot of good cards out there, and the supercard is certainly one of them. But if you are looking for the best overall, in my mind, it is the CycloDS Evo without question. It is a lcouple bucks more, but well worth it.

Ugh. You complain about "fanbois" and then you go on and make this comment.

If that's the only ammo people have against the CycloDS (that the microSD sticks out a small amount...although in recent batches it is almost perfect) then I'd have to say the card must be doing pretty well. It is very well constructed. So is the SCDS1 to a point...but I think the CycloDS is better built. I prefer non-spring loaded.

That's your opinion, I don't know enough aboout the Acekard RPG to say something like that and if I did I'm not sure I would agree. Maybe I would, maybe not...

Money wasn't an object for me; I chose the SC DS ONE, due to it's feature set, and the fact that I can use TTMENU and Ysmenu if I'd like as well.

They're both great cards though.

I used these pics as a comparison to show that the EDGE is essentially a clone of the CycloDS, but it works just as well to show that the microSD no longer sticks out with new CycloDS carts (I bought mine in February/March from RHS):

multi saver support (have multi pokemon d/p save files for one rom)

better slowmotion function (has more settings and can be changed at will or even completely off as many times as you like during gameplay via cheat menu)

multi OS support (thanks to bliss, this function is truelly a brilliant adition to the many supercard features)

first with new features (RTS, homebrew softreset)

plays mp3,dpg ect without the need for anymore software, it's built straight into the system

no 127 code restriction when useing the 'big cheat' xml file via the dstt/yasu menus

no sticky out the top mem card feature (or maybe thats a negative

)


of course all these exclusive features are obviously crap or don't work according to the cyclo-worship-monger-brigade about to post

on a side note, it's really nice to see that many more gbatempers are not being duped by the aggressive cyclo-gang and are not afraid to speak out against the lies spread by them
