in yata + i mean... i do not see any image option for animated bottom screen.. the scrolling i would go for is the little by little but i do not know how much a 3ds theme can take.

The whole image has to be 1024x256
And the drawable part (the part you will see on the 3ds in the end) 1008x240
Here is an example.
You can put whatever you want, but keep in mind that once you scroll to the end, it will repeat from the beginning again.

Then the type of scolling you're looking for is the other one.
You have to split it into 3 frames, and the frame will change each time you scroll the screen.
In this case, the whole image has to be 1024x256
and the drawable part will be 960x240 (320 width for each frame, so 320+320+320=960 )

Keep in mind that the scroll is called "animation" on yata+, but it will be a static image on the real 3ds unless you scroll the image.

The animation must have the same image with a maximum of 3 frames each picture with the image with changes. Repetition will image 1 image 3 and image 3 image 1.
If for you to put this image as animation should open in a gif editor and take 3 frames to make the animation.

I was animation in the bottom image this theme https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-theme-thread.377399/page-185#post-6070086 went back behind. I would make the fork and knife crossed.
