Gaming custom sprites on pokemon HG / SS/

hello GBA TEMP!!!
i have a question is it possible to install own maked Sprites on Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver?
i search a programm like pokepic becouse i heard Pokepic wount work on HG SS.
i mean sprites like this:

Oh, I'm sure eventually it will be possible to. Just wait until the Touhou community gets it's hands on it...

That would be very neat... Would help keep the game a little fresh when it starts hitting a few years in.

And then we'd be able to remove that disgraceful Mewtwo sprite... Erck.
