You're still a n00b if you believe using CAPS most of the time and over-using emoticons help you look more 'cool and experienced'. Anyway, using this over rev17, works great. Thanks wanin for the release, hopefully this will keep improving.

i didnt say it made me look more cool and experienced

i just wanted to show that other dude that i know a few things about homebrew just like him and i wanted him to know that i was serious about it too!! EDIT: i overused smileys because i wanted him to know how i was feeling when i said the stuff i did, but it doesnt matter now...

i tested cios rev18 and it works great and so does NeoGamma R8 RC3 in conjunction!! thanks waninkoko!

a heads up, USB loader GX and wiiflow both work with r18.
AFAIK none of the loaders work with SNEEK.

Installed as what CIOS (38, 57, 60 , 70 ) ? . I think this should be posted with each working/not working to help everyone out.

Okay I need someone who is USING SNEEK to do some testing for me.
1) Have you got this installed?
2) What IOS did you use to install? (not the base ios...)
3) Was it trucha patched
4) If yes to question 1, can you try running the installer again and use IOS249 for the installation
5) Did it hang for you too?
I'm on SNEEK with a 4.2U nand
1) Yes
2) 36 v3351, The same IOS I use to install WADs in SNEEK.
3) No, (I think) my HBC is running off of 36 and it isn't upside down. If it was trucha'd it woulds upside down right?
4) Trying...
5) Yup, It said "Loading..." never finished and wiimote disconnected

Ok now you have lost me, what do you mean to install the cIOS? or to run them, cause i had wads installed for the channels and no, i used a normal SD to install.

Okay, I meant base57 should work with GX and wiiflow.
I have tried base37, 38, AND 57 in SNEEK and none will boot games. (although GX will show you your game list so you know the IOS is working.)

This confirms my suspicions. I imagine there will be several people who used this "install method" thinking it was installed properly when it really wasn't. In order to get this to work right I had to use any title deleter to delete ios249 and 250. Then I ran the installer again using ios36 with base57, after that installation I was able to run the installer again and select 249 (if I wanted) without it hanging, and this is how I knew it was finally installed correctly.
A note - all this was done in sneek.

edit: also pertaining to number 3, trucha wouldn't flip your HBC and I've since found it doesn't make a difference if you are trucha'd or not since the ES spoofing of SNEEK will let this install work no matter what. I suggest you copy what I did above to ensure your ios installed properly.

Would anyone know why when I try to load configurable I get stuck on the intro screen with with lights on (or not one) my Wiimote? I tried with 37 & 38. . .

When i was useing wad manager after installing new cios249 i lost SDHC compatability and wad manager was coming up with error -1

for whoever cares, i installed this as 57 base. then dumped the whole nand and run it in sneek. i can start the cIOS in sneek, but it freezes shortly and the wiimote doesnt sync. i'd like somebody to confirm, but it seems that at least this combination doesnt run in my version of sneek.
I encountered a similar problem. Upgraded from 17 to 18 using 57 as my new base. Then the wiimotes stopped syncing. I rebooted twice or three times still no luck. Then magically they worked again after I left it off for a few minutes. Went back to cios38v17 by restoring from nand backup -- I always backup just before a big change.
