In all fairness, this channel is based on an illegal source and this thread should be closed. He didn't create a legal channel and used a nintendo channel as a base.

well going on what you say, most "custom" channels need to be deleted or erased.. cause in all "fairness" most of the channels are based off nentendo.. take wiiflow's channel,carbonk.(?) it's main source is/was excite truck.. an thats just one of them, most if not all the channels are recycled. i think the only person who bases off his own code is (shit can't remember still hung over from pre- st,patties day party).. so that's a small point.
on side note, @[member='AbdallahTerro'], don't let bad crap stop you, yeah the community can be harsh,(shit i'm some times).. keep trying.

well i can say this all the channels ive created was made all from scratch only channels i ever used a base for was a really old dosbox and genplus that i made when i first joined the scene and i dont even link too now them anymore

sadly its rare to see anybody make a great custom channel now days that they didnt steal ether the banner or icon for
even the "official" neek2o channel was made with a base yes it was a legal base but still

Yes, diidy you're right but the main obstacle here is the lack of an easy to use channel editor that can edit animation and effects, which leaves us with the easier option of using customiizemii with what's out there.
There might be a tool that I don't know about.

@abdallah , you can also try WADder.net, they have a bunch of channels legal an reskinded, an thats were i started before gba became my home site. they have some cool ones, an sifjar has all his legal base channels there. not sure if all the links works. i have been there on occasion, just to see if anything is new, an it is some times. those guys are good an will help out. but your right, there isn't alot of fresh channels, an be being in the same boat as you.(not knowing shit about coding). it is hard i'm still playing around trying to figure the animations writing out. they also have an app on the site named porta pack. it's your basic all in one tool, an is great for leaning how to write code.(or even making the pic files the same format as whats used for the channels.

alot better now , Yep GX channel needs more animation, good thing i dont use it anymore as a base , pics are off quite a long time ago back early 2011 lol

What you using for your screenshots?

heres a gx i have. i used hawks game as a base.(just cause the the channels animation fits what i wanted..) yes it even has the opening from the song aces high..(if no one can tell i'm old school heavy metal. nothing thats out now is music like the old days gone by).

I really think something simple like this would be better:

I didn't choose the best colors, but since it's not my project (and I have others I need to finish), I didn't feel like putting that much effort into it.

When you say official, have the themes authors asked you to make the channels to match their themes? if not then they aint official to the themes or CFG (approved by oggzee)

what app is this , photoshop / gimp or some naff web based "fancy text editior" ? no offence it looks kinda "logo creator" text a bit too much , needs a little subelty and finess imho rather than the brash bold stuff , but its personal preference.
