Gaming Cubic ninja not working

I was hoping to hack my New 3DS, but when I go to the scan QR code, it crashes back to the home screen. Am I missing something?

Delete the savegame and try again after a full n3ds reboot.

There was no save game, it's a brand new N3DS that's never ran CN until now

fw version? Also need an internet connection the first time. Wifi must be turned on and connected.

What firmware is it on?

It may be too high.

Tried. Many times. It crashes when I go to Create>QR Code, as well as Play>Custom Levels>My Data. I am only able to play Story mode. FW is 9.0.0-20U

Ok, NEW problem. Turning on 3D for anything when in GW mode results in ghost images, not proper 3D. Turning it off just makes the screen dimmer. HALP!

close the lid and reopen it.
