Homebrew CRI Audio problem

I'm not rly sure if this is the right section for this topic.

I wondered what's behind this CRIWARE icon which shows up
before the title screen on many games ( not only concerning the DS)

So I asked one of my best friends .. (google his name)
I figured out that CRIWARE offers freeware software for optimizing
Sound and Video. I segned up and downloaded the latest CRI Audio Setup.exe.
The I installed it but as I tried to run it.. I got some alertbox with the information that
a new version is out and the programm isn't about to start..
so I check the site again but there isn't any new setup client..

Anybody can tell me how to run it without getting the alert-box?

I know that this is 15 years late but I would love to have the Cri Audio setup Installer
