Can someone confirm that Dead and Furious patch works? I have tried on G6 lite with every setting combination and every time I get the white screen. I tried other patches for other roms and they worked, so I don`t know what is wrong.

Thanks

works on my R4 and ez flash iv, infinite health and infinite hand gun ammo, although the other weapons you need to reload.

starfox doesn't play well with my stylus the thumb is out of the question.

my opnion about it is that nintendo develop product with touch screen , and she feal like she have to force the use,
of this feature in her games like the snow cube in castlevania or the changing into a demon in lunar knight.
we enjoy the toch screen in some of the gene like advunture, minigame, rts, puzzle, rhythem.
but race, flysim, platform, action advunture.action rpg this is little problematic, they should quit it (or let us choose controler type).

i play jetimpulse and it is alot alot better from starfox even when i didnt understad word only for the controller type/

no more i will leave the thread for trainer issue

that may be true but starfox would be really annoying if you controlled it with the left thumbpad. games that need diagonals pressed a lot kill my thumb like lost in blue 1. that's why lost in blue 2 was controlled with the stylus. i'll admit starfox stylus control isn't great but i'd rather have that than a sore thumb.

I second the Puzzle Quest trainer.

just use bleeps puzzle quest trainer, if you guys dont like the codes then use a clean rom after buying one item, it will give you max gold then you can play normally but with unlimited funds, since all his puzzle quest trainer is, is quick lvl up, infinite gold, and lots of mana points.

That's a great idea, I'll give that a try.

Bummer... even with the Clean ROM, it still keeps all the patched effects on the save... So inf HP, god, one hit kills, level 50, etc...

@cracker: I tried gbasharky, but it doesn't work (properly) for the games I desire. I already contacted the author, but he doesn't write back ;(... Any Ideas ?

Unfortunately, (as you found out) it won't work for every game out there but it does work for a large part of them. If it does patch the game but the game freezes you could try limiting it to only the 'essential codes'. If it doesn't patch at all then then you're SOL from the start. The project went defunct a long time ago and I never got a reply when I asked for the source code, etc since he wasn't working on the project anymore.

I've actually been thinking about trying my hand at creating a similar patching program that could handle executing things on button presses (and other conditionals) and possibly a menu to enable/disable codes during runtime. I've been busy with other stuff so I'm not sure when I will get the time to work on it. Even if I do get the time it might never be released. A large part of it is getting info on how the opcodes are encoded otherwise it would be useless...

Is it possible for you to make a trainer for the opera browser??? will you be able to make one???
opera browser? what the hell? its just a web browser, what cheat codes are there for it? unless you are asking cracker to make a bdf patch for your flash cart like the ones for the M3,Supercard and ez flash out there.

Yeah, opera browser patch?
I assume you want to get it working on other devices in which case your best bet is to grab the G6/m3/sc patches and reverse engineer those (vague recollections are it is only a few bytes changed Disassemble those and you have an answer, I will warn it will require fairly low level knowledge to pull off and not all carts are created equal).

If you want to change its appearance then the files are standard windows formats (very rare), standard encodings (ASCII, unicode...) save one or two items that are uncompressed standard GBA (keyboard and a few other bits). Usual decompilation/recompilation methods with ndstool work.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
