suggestion: make some sort of auto running file that makes the cheat DB appear everytime you load a game on ak2i? it would be epic. thanks.

What I have to do to work with ysmenu as a homebrew?
You just put in the ysmenu.nds...and then you can use that as homebrew. Of course, to see it in dscovered, you need a cover for it.

?????

Sorry, i didn't uderstood.

I asked about running DScovered in the ysmenu firmware.

You want to run DScoverd from ysmenu? That kind of defeats the whole point of DScovered!
DSCovered uses ysmenu/akaio/touchpod to load games, your system would work like this--

power up -> system menu -> ysmenu -> dscovered -> ysmenu -> game
DSCovered is intended for the following --
power up -> dscovered -> ysmenu -> game.
the ysmenu step is invisible to the user, so it looks like dscovered is loading the game.

If you still wish to use ysmenu from dscovered, make sure you add it to the list in dscovery.exe and set homebrew to load externally in the dscovered settings. I see absolutly no reason to load ysmenu twice before loading a game.

I actually use DScover from YSMenu (and also TTMenu lol). I just like to have multiple firmwares on my card

Using Xenon++ alternative loader and inilink+iniclear it is possible. Set up Xenons loader to loaders folder, put inilink somewhere (like root of d_system folder) and edit loaders config file with inilink file path. Then put inilink/clear config (where you have edited right thing) to root and and iniclear as TTMENU.DAT.

But the point of DSCovered is to replace your system menu.
Just do to DSCovered whatever you did to ysmenu to make it your system menu, keep ysmenu.nds and ysmenu.ini in the root of your card and wollop! everything works.
But to answer your original question, there should be no problem running DSCovered.nds from ysmenu.

So setup iniclear(ttmenu.dat) in my mshl2tools

BTW to boot M3 touchpod in normal mode we have two choices:
1. m3sakura_make touchpod to get loadable from iniclear
2. Modify nds.m3loader.nds, which won't require boot.ini

#Anyway I'm not using inilink for M3, m3loader is better

@Xenon++ I experimented with different loader.nds files from a couple older DSCovered versions, and I found one that works without corrupting my savedata

I don't know what version it is, but I uploaded it...

Here (renamed from loader.nds to loader_ysmenu_old.nds): http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?tyzjymnjtjt

Very sorry but I should ask about GPL rule.
You should know Chishm bootlib is a GPL component, so you have to use external boot.bin if you don't want to release the source code, right?

PS. I'll modify mshl2tools to use /boot.bin to maintain public domain. Actually favlauncher_bl.nds is released under GPL but I don't like that

That sounds right. I have never liked GPL, I see if more of an infection than an 'licence'. I don't see why I should have to show the world my messy code just because I'm using an extremely outdated piece of code (the r21 version of the loader). I guess I should consider externalising the boot file also.

Does anyone want to design a cart sticker for DSCovered? The best one/s, hell, probably all of them, will be included in the official download for DSCovered.
This is probadly dump question but why cart sticker?

My M3iZero and TTDS currently don't have stickers on them (I peeled them off out of boredom), so I wan't to put DSCovered stickers on them. Maybe other people would like to do the same, who knows.
