You just put in the ysmenu.nds...and then you can use that as homebrew. Of course, to see it in dscovered, you need a cover for it.Cafezinho said:What I have to do to work with ysmenu as a homebrew?

Oh lol, looks like I had things the opposite way around...though in that case, you just use the DSCovered.nds included in the download o.0? Then just browse over to it using ysmenu.Cafezinho said:?????
Sorry, i didn't uderstood.
I asked about running DScovered in the ysmenu firmware.

Fortunately YWG released 1.07 source code, yay.

You want to run DScoverd from ysmenu? That kind of defeats the whole point of DScovered!
DSCovered uses ysmenu/akaio/touchpod to load games, your system would work like this--
power up -> system menu -> ysmenu -> dscovered -> ysmenu -> game
DSCovered is intended for the following --]
power up -> dscovered -> ysmenu -> game.
the ysmenu step is invisible to the user, so it looks like dscovered is loading the game.
If you still wish to use ysmenu from dscovered, make sure you add it to the list in dscovery.exe and set homebrew to load externally in the dscovered settings. I see absolutly no reason to load ysmenu twice before loading a game.
Cafezinho said:But my System menu is ysmenu!!!!
So setup iniclear(ttmenu.dat) in my mshl2toolsspinal_cord said:Cafezinho said:But my System menu is ysmenu!!!!
But the point of DSCovered is to replace your system menu.
Just do to DSCovered whatever you did to ysmenu to make it your system menu, keep ysmenu.nds and ysmenu.ini in the root of your card and wollop! everything works.
But to answer your original question, there should be no problem running DSCovered.nds from ysmenu.
Xenon++ said:Very sorry but I should ask about GPL rule.
You should know Chishm bootlib is a GPL component, so you have to use external boot.bin if you don't want to release the source code, right?
PS. I'll modify mshl2tools to use /boot.bin to maintain public domain. Actually favlauncher_bl.nds is released under GPL but I don't like that![]()
This is probadly dump question but why cart sticker?spinal_cord said:Does anyone want to design a cart sticker for DSCovered? The best one/s, hell, probably all of them, will be included in the official download for DSCovered.
