anyone else seeing this issue?
I did. So far I tried two games, Dead Rising(NTSC-U) and Punch Out (NTSC-U) which work in USB LoaderGX.
I am in 3.3v1 NTSC-U, cIOS36rev10.

You all have right, and the problem is fixed in current SVN, I think we will release an update shortly.
Seems we always do a RC then an RC update a day after
smile.gif

Fishears can you do it? I can't compile just now, but i can update changelog.

You can change the size of covers in theotherzone. See the download page, it's right in the very beginning of the page.

i got it to compile, needed to install devkitpro 1.4.10 or whatever it is. now i have
coverflow on my own language! how cool is that!

There are instructions for setting up covers on the first post.

This is why i dont ask questions, because NULLKILL, you get answers that missed the point, MY Wii isnt online (ya know attacted to the internet in any way), so i cant run the download covers application that comes with coverflow.

Another reason i dont ask questions, because KYOGC, you get answers that missed the point, I have tried to change the size to 160x224 then pressed 'Change size' button, but then there isnt a download checkbox, and if you goto the bottom of the page there isnt a create zip/download button.

Or is is me. ?

Thanks for reading the question tho.

Ill just plod on reading other peoples problems and other peoples answers, both the usefull and useless ones.

I don't know how many games you have on you USB device, however you can download covers one by one after you change sizes of covers. That's what I have done.

BTW, if this was an useless answer, you can ignore it. And I won't try to answer any question from you.

I'll try to explain how to do it
you type the right size (160 and 224) in the boxes and click change size as you did. Now you have to scroll down to the game you want the cover from (without using the letter shortcuts) and click 3D or the magnifying glass. the cover you will see is 160x224 in size. You will have to download each cover individually.

Hello all,

I got a problem here, and I don't think it is related to RC3. I'll test tonight with RC3Update to see if it is or not, since I do not have ocarina or any other option enabled, here what I get. My wii is a USA 4.0U, my TV is a Philips LCD 42'.
Saturday was everything working (I had RC2). On sunday, I moved my wii to my mother in law's house, and her TV is a Zenith 29' CRT. After cofinguring the video, I started Mario Strikers. It opened black&white (didn't know it was PAL !), but it was working. So, I enabled on game settings the Force NTSC.
After that, when I click any game cover I got a Code Dump, even before the disc cover apears. THe games loaded normally with wanin's loader.
At home, I deleted gamelist.xml and it worked, at least with the first game. After started a new game, I got a code dump again.

Here is my gamelist.xml that was giving the error. I didn't see anything relevant or strange:
CODE

ÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂ

And after I deleted the file and play the first game, I got this gamelist.xml:
CODE

ÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂ

So, what may be my problem ???

By changing the size you need to pick the covers you need and save them one by one.
If there is enough demand for this then i assume people are also also willing to cover some of the bandwidth costs and once that happens ill add in the zip feature for all sizes , but until then you and others requesting this can just click the images one by one - in all fairness , 30 or 40 clicks isnt much in comparison to the amount of coding the lads have done on loaders and i have done on that site.

Your question was answered but you never mentioned that you were too lazy to click box covers individually.

Ok Lets move on from this.

Sorry for the sarcasm, and many thanks to NULLKILL, KYOGC, and many many thanks to tj_cool and djtaz.

Wow, this loader is as awesome as ever!

Ummm... I've been looking in the code for where the covers are drawn (the center cover IS drawn seperatly from the side ones, right?), and I can't seem to find it. Would it be possible to alter the side covers without altering the center cover (In terms of things like scale, y position, etc)? Where would I do that?

Just want to say thank you to the Dev's and everyone invovled with this loader. I have been following the project since the start and only today got around to trying it out (RC3), moving from the Ultimate Loader.

Have only done a little testing so far but seems to work flawlessly and looks amazing.

Love it! And Mrs Olywa is suitably impressed - keep up the great work guys - THANK YOU

Regards,
Olywa

I'm getting a code dump on every title thru RC3 unfortunately. USB Loader is working like a charm. No idea what might be different here. I loaded both loader apps from inside Homebrew Channel (not via a forwarding channel).
The only difference may be I have a chipped Wii though I still ran all the standard software hacks/exploits anyway.

Love the look of this loader, just sad I can't use it.

If a photo/screenshot of the code dump would be helpful, I can post/email it.

All the magic starts with the draw_covers() function... follow the rabbit from there ;-) You'll eventually wind up at GRRLIB_DrawCoverImg() This is where the GX calls are made.

And no, the center is not drawn any different from the sides, they just have different attributes based on where you are in the stack...
Think of the row of covers all facing the same direction, with the half-way cover of the row being the '0' cover and the the side covers being +/-n from center.
So like: -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 (if you have 7 games, you get the picture?)
Think of the var 'self.shift' as the pointer to what's currently in the 'middle' of the screen. Angle, scale, falloff, etc. is all calculated on the fly using Beardface's patented algorithm ;-)

As for modifying the sides separately from the middle, that's sort of like what the 'Fall Off' features does... look at its implementation for more info. (hint: guMtxTransApply)
