Hacking Corrupted SD?

I've got a Sandisk 1GB microSD.. yeah, didn't realise the kingston was better.

Anyhow, tried to copy a new game into the micro using my sd port in my laptop. As soon as i clicked paste, an error popped up saying something about a 'cyclic redundancy check', and i couldnt access any of the files anymore.

I then took out the sd card, and put it into my ds. Two of my games, had like all these chinese symboled folders and didnt work.

Tried to delete the folders off my sd card and everytime i try it, the computer says the folders don't exist.

Anyone know why i got this error in the first place?

You got sold a Faulty Micro SD Card

Have you tried to format it?

Use this tool: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=389 to format it not the built in windows one.

Format it then try again

I just formatted it using windows, but i'll do it again using that.
