Well, I give up then. Thanks a million for the tool and the prompt feedback! No thumbnail etc would imply the even the banner itself is corrupted. If the reflow didn't work, then I guess the cart's a lost cause - just too heavily corrupted

It is difficult to imagine a scenario in which someone would not recommend making a backup of valuable data. And also would you recommend backing up my save file somehow before going through with the tool?
Unless there is something wrong with your cartridge slot, it is also difficult to imagine that would make a difference. (And if there was something wrong with your cartridge slot, you'd be seeing problems with other games.)I'm also gonna be using this on a different 3DS to the one I typically play this cart of NL on.
What exactly do you think will happen if you don't open them and they're already corrupted..?Do I have to open them to check they have not corrupted with time?
How can you be sure it was working if you didn't test it, though..?Before testing the cartridge, I made the mistake of using Checkpoint to restore a save file from a CIA version of the game onto the physical cartridge. After that, the game stopped booting entirely. This is exactly what happened:
- Inserted working Soul Hackers cartridge

It seems unlikely that writing the save data is what caused it to stop working correctly.
hmm, so its this done ?Keep running the fixer until the game either stabilizes, or no longer improves.
thx mateYep. If the game is still crashing after that, then delete the update data off SD card.
Let it refresh for very long time, if its not fix it then noShawo , can I save thi or not. Pls help me![]()
But shouldn't it move past 0% by now? I'll let it run for the rest of the day, but I'm not very hopeful...The exefs part takes the longest, because the entire thing is just one chunk.
It's not out of the question that it will eventually move on, but it's rather unlikely once it gets to this stage.
