So the story is this. I have a 3ds XL that I've been using for a long time. I've invested a lot of time in Fire Emblem Awakening, which I bought digitally, and also into Fantasy Life, which I bought physically but which saves data to the SD card.
The New 3dsXL came out, but instead of trading in my old one (which is on an older firmware and which I use to access my Gateway), I just bought the New 3dsXL outright. Now I have two systems. Since I wanted to be able to access all of my digital games on the New 3dsXL, but didn't want to update my old 3ds to do a system transfer, I just called Nintendo and had them do their thing over the phone so I could just redownload the games.
The thing is, I'd like my Fire Emblem and Fantasy Life saves accessible on the New 3dsXL. Is there any way I can just copy my saved games over to the new system? I don't think it's as simple as copying my old SD card data from my old 3ds onto the MicroSD in the New 3ds... right?
