Can i copy emuMMC folder to sd card without restoring system partition?

I had partition based emuMMC but after game crash console stopped booting. I think that system partition is corrupted - on every boot i got 2162-0002 error but i've never had theme installed (everyone is saying its theme error) and there was no folder that i was supposed to delete to fix the problem. Thats why i think something got corrupted after game crash.

I did FULL DUMP with nxNandManager of the 29gb partition on sd card and i also copied 300+gb emuMMC folder from the sd card.
I wiped the sd card and did clean install. I do not want to restore the 29gb partition as something is wrong with it and console does not start.
Can i just copy emuMMC folder to the fresh sd card and eventually just copy some files from 29gb partition backup to new 29gb partition so that switch recognizes emuMMC folder contents?

You can…it won’t hurt anything to try. You wont get things like your game saves back because they are actually stored on the 29G partition but that might be OK with you.

But doesn't switch has some kind of register or something stored in those 29gb with information what is actually installed? I read that if you remove emuMMC folder you still see all your games only that you cannot run them as it says you need to download them first.

BTW. I extracted saves from 29gb partition with nxNandManager.

Correct. There are important things on that 29G. You believe you have corruption so there are very few options other than to try it and hope for the best. You have your game saves which are the important thing. Games can (relatively) easily be reinstalled.

It’s probably best/fastest/easiest/stablest to just copy your Sysnand to a new Emunand, reinstall games and restore your game saves.

Yeah but it can take up to 10 days to precess it and get access and then i need to download all the games again which takes time.
So noone ever tried copying already installed games? Like for example to their second switch or something?

With filesystem corruption all bets are off.

That said, does anyone else have any ideas that might help here?

I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though
