Hacking Converting .sav to .dst

Recently my DSi stopped working and my warranty also is finished. I decided to switch to a emulator called Desmume, the problem is that it only reads .dst files and not .dsv. I've tried everything but nothing is working, Import Memory and then Reset doesn't work, the converters to convert to DST but they convert to DSV which desmume does not read. Whenever I start the rom (in this case Pokemon White), it shows "New Game" but not "Continue".

Any ideas on what I could do?

DeSmuME *does* read .dsv files. Make sure you are using the latest DeSmuME v0.9.7, then go to Config -> Path Settings -> SaveRam under desmume. Select the folder which your .dsv file is in. Make sure that your dsv file has the same filename as your ROM, but with a different extension. Then try loading your ROM again. If you have converted your savefile correctly it will work.
