Emulation Connecting GC controller

So I have nintendont working and I have games that work on it. I knoe because I tested it with a friends gamecube controller. But when I recieved mine in the mail with the same adaptet my friend uses, It will not work. Neither the controller nor the adapter is broken because they work on my switch, but I want to be want to be able to use to on my vwii. Thanks.

Strange. Which adapter did you get? I bought my gc adapter off of aliexpress and it has worked on both pc and wii u.

It was an evoretro. Mayflash works for me though.

But you know that adapter would not work for wii games either way, right? You would have to try and use it with nintendont for gamecube games to see if it works. Or try it with Smash 4 Wii U. For wii games on vWii the mayflash adapter that plugs into a wiimote is your only option for the moment. I suspect that's the one you have.

Didnt work for nintendont. My computer also didnt recognize it.

Damn that sucks. Sounds like it might be broken then if the computer doesn't even recognize it.

Worked for my switch. But I returned it and my new one just came in and it works like a charm
