I'm irritated, but really it makes business sense. Either Lyuse is right, or Sony offered a lot more money than they would have made otherwise. As much as I want to play Ghostbusters on PC in June, publishers and developers can't listen to the gaming public's every want instead of making money - and as a company that's exactly what they need to do. Money > Consumer unforunately.

EDIT: Just saw the NTSC release is coming out in June still, guess my only choice is piracy unless I can find a way of importing at a reasonable price.

Well Atari have officially said that they are still release the NTSC versions next month so you will be able to play the PC version...just not legit.

I think it's a form of console wars between publishers/console makers.

I detested Ubisoft's decision to 'deny' PC gamers The Epilogue DLC (Prince Of Persia) when the main game was released for PC.

I also deplore the decision that the DLC for Tomb Raider: Underworld was released exclusively for the Xbox360.

I don't know what they are trying to prove by releasing content on a 'favoured' platform, but I find it absolutely disgraceful, and this practice needs to be halted, because it's unfair on gamers who play on their preferred console.

Is this the future? If so I don't want to be part of it anymore. (I think 26 years of gaming is long enough).

Agreed. I mean even now DEMOS are being made exclusive, it's completely out of hand. As much as I'm not a fan of the Playstation 3 or Sony in general lately (With acts like this you question me why?) when I read about GTA and Fallout DLC being 360 only...I just pretty much kept asking myself "Why." There are still plenty of people that own the games on those systems, why screw them over. Console exclusivity is where it should stay...

Sometimes I just wish that the whole idea of "consoles" would be scrapped and everything would be moved over to the PC.

I mean, it's pretty much the superior platform, why not use it?

Oh and inb4 "DEVELOPERS DON'T DEVELOP FOR THE PC BECAUSE OF DIRTY PIRATES LIKE YOU!".

Thats what I ment in my earlier post about recouping their money ... soon as it hits 360 its going to be dumped/pirated and they will start loosing money for every burned copy being played its potentially £30-£40 ($45-$52) each that they loose ..... and so far to date the PS3 has been unhackable for PS3 GAME backups ..... so a guaranteed way of getting a lot of cash back from PS3 exclusive titles
