Yes i have seen it.

Some things I have already changed.
Try the attached version from my previos post.

cfg USB Loader can only display GC games in the folders for DM/DML.
The devolution sample loader uses another structure.
Its easier to change the sample loader than the cfg USB Loader.

You can convert WBFS to FAT32 with wbfs2fat.
Partitioning or no partitioning.

Many people wrongly equate having a single partition (which is common) with having no partitioning table.
Are you absoluetly sure that the drive does not have a partition table?
Because Windows does not like no partitioning. The resulting fat32 will probably not work there (in Linux it will work without problems).
But since that should already be true for WBFS I really doubt that you have no partition table.

If you really do not have one I can try to modify wbfs2fat to create one for you.
Shouldn't be that hard to do but might take some days depending on time/motivation.

edit: working under Linux, still some work required for Windows (direct LFN support)

sorry for the massively late reply, but, thank you for this! it seems to have worked!

problem is, now i'm getting "ERROR: setWBFS -3" whenever i try to boot a game. whats the deal here?

EDIT: i read that this was an issue with rev21 of cios249, so i installed rev20 but now it does that thing where if you soft reset and try to go back into the loader it hangs?

Both CIOSs are a bit old.
I suggest you give d2x a try. Theres a sticky around here somewhere.

Try a different loader too.

Do I understand correctly that the games now do work until you try to soft reset?
Because If they don't work at all and you used wbfs2fat 0.9.0beta1 that was most likely the cause.

i tried d2x v8 final but it gave me the same errors as before - "ios reload: blocked" and "setWBFS -3"

maybe i'm missing something else? do i absolutely need anything aside from 249?

sorry for all the noob questions....

yes, they work until i soft-reset -- if i try to open the loader again after a soft-reset it doesnt work, i have to turn off and on again. thats just an issue caused by outdated ios files..... i think...

Can I make a suggestion for the next updates?

It would be nice to have a "Wii Games" filter. Now that CFG can load GameCube games by using DM and DML, the "GC Games" filter is pretty useful, but we can't yet display ONLY our Wii Games if we want to. It's either "Show all games" or "GC Games". That being said, "Wii Games" would be very nice. :)

Please post any enhancement suggestions at the googlecode page, it is easier for me to manage the suggestions there.
I will have a look on that next weekend.
Right now I'm going to visit GamesCom ;)

For some reason on a new drive i setup the return to feature is not working.

I had it set to auto and it just reboots to the wiis main menu and ive also had it configured to return to the channel ID of the forwarder channel.

Neither will reload cfg loader.

Is USB nand ever going to be supported, or is it already supported and I'm just dumb??

I'm working on nand savegame emulation right now.
The first test versions will released later this week.

mod r46b3
==========
-added nand emulation (setting in game options), default path is "usb:/nand"
-removed DM(L) version setting since its auto detected now
-added force devolution setting
-some fixes

An underrated opinion: While Bluesky as a platform is better than Twitter, Bluesky's userbase won't be better than Twitter as people are saying because everyone from the non-bootleg site are moving to the bootleg one expecting for themselves to change with their attitude, but that never works like that.
  • DragonMals @ DragonMals:
I will say though: Bluesky as a micro-blogging site? Needs a bit more oomph and I would officially like it better than Twiter. Can't even post gifs on that site, like what the fuck?
