Can you elaborate please? You can load GC games off NTFS partitions now? (I thought that was not possible).

r41 searches for GC games on sd and usb (fat32 and ntfs partitions)
If DML is selected in the settings, games from the fat32 and ntfs partitions are copied to sd before launch.
If DM is selected in the settings, games from the sd card and ntfs partitions are copied to the fat32 partition before launch.

What does it do if Devolution is selected? Just curious.

I just read this on the Configurable USB Loader google page.

"MOD v3 (TBA):
-surprise :), something you have never seen in any other loader"

I hope it's related to DM/DML. I'm very excited!

How can that be if GC titles won't even show up on an ntfs partition? Is it a planned feature and not implemented yet? I'm assuming this works with multiple partitions on a single usb drive as well?

GC Games on a NTFS partition show up when you select the partition in the settings.
GC Games from the fat32 partition show up always.

This only works with one USB drive (fat32 and NTFS partitions) and sd card.

Ok, just to clarify, does ntfs need to be the primary partition? And do they need to be set up the same on the root like "games/game id/game.iso"? For some reason my Wii titles show up but the GC titles don't when i select the ntfs drive.

Using r41

The gamecube game kirbys air ride i get a code dump using the default settings.
If i turn off the video patch then the game starts fine.

I tried this with two different drives and both drives did the same thing.

A seagate drive and a western digital drive.

I also tried a different gamecube game on both drives to see if it was happening to all and its not.
I tried mario kart double dash with the video patch left to AUTO and the game starts up on both drives fine.

Hello.

This is my first post and I want to say Hi to all members and creators of the forum..

Thanks for the 70r41 mod.
I did not try yet games from ntfs from GameCube. I have a problem to report...

This version plays GameCube preview sound even in Wii titles.. A little annoying

The most important thing now is that I can play my old GC games from my ntfs 3TB hard drive. I'll test it and I'll give feedback. I'd like to ask what about scrached disks that do not play? Is there any solution instead of ripping them?

On v70r41,
I can't enable Devolution in the per-game options when I have Dios Mios selected as the global option.
If I choose Devolution as the global option, loading games with Dios Mios doesn't work (apploader size error)
This is problematic since I run Dios Mios primarily, while alternatively loading Devolution for a few problem titles.
r37 works great for me; hope this gets ironed out soon. :)

v70r42
=========
-added DIOS MIOS detection, removed setting
-fixed DIOS MIOS videomode selection
-added NTSC-J patch to console menu
-fixed devolution launch
-fixed banner sounds on wii games

http://code.google.com/p/cfg-loader-mod/downloads/detail?name=cfg70MODr42.dol

@[member='frown']: devolution should work now.

@[member='icebrg5']: please try r42

@[member='Nemesis90']: yes the games need the same set up as on fat32/sd, I have tested it and it works fine for me. The game is automatically copied from the ntfs partition to the fat32 partition before launch.

I got confused with the new update...

I have an sd card that is fat32 formatted and it contains cfg loader

My GameCube Games are in games folder in my 3tb HD (NTFS) and my wii titles in wbfs folder...

-My problem is that I cannot see the GC games I ripped them and converted them. (Loading them from SD works fine)

What's my mistake? I cannot understand...

Wait, what's all this I'm reading about people playing Gamecube backups on CFG Loader? I'm on v70, would I be able to play GC backups too? I've only been using CFG for Wii backups.

r42 fixed the code dump issue with kirby air ride

I do notice now though that within the settings the highest i can select for dios mios is 2.1 +

Before there was an option for 2.2+

Although my wd drive seems to freeze up with gamecube games for some reason.Sometimes they boot fine and freeze up within a few minutes of playing.
Other times they don't even boot and just hang at a black screen. They work fine on my seagate drive though which is my main drive used for the wii.

I'll just chalk it up as the hard drive isn't compatible with dios mios and leave it at that.

I have turned off the sleep feature on the wd as well.

Then post it (in a spoiler).
