I have issues with 2 games:
Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop (PAL)
and
Zumba Fitness (NTSC)

I tried all available IOS-settings but the result is the same: on my PAL-Wii both load to a black screen and freeze.
Did anyone try those games and/or has a suggestion how to make them work?

Zumba Fitness works fine with cios249 v21d2x base 56 on my console which is NTSC though.

QUOTE(TyRaNtM @ Feb 12 2011, 06:23 PM) How can I force downloading only 2D cover images?
Also, is possible that only download missing ones and not all?
For example, having in my hdd only one game with a missing cover, and download with CFG that missing cover, and NOT download 3D, disc, full, etc..?

Pressing right on the d-pad will download only missing covers, left will download everything available.

yeah, i just want to download only the 3d covers, it may be successful by editing the config.txt:
CODEdownload_all_styles = 1, 0
By default, all cover styles (flat, 3d, disc art and full) will be downloaded for each game. Change this setting to 0 to only download the cover that is currently set by cover_style.

oggzee,I think that there are a few issues with the languages in the Wii:

(1) I am from Spain and my Wii is setup for Spain and for the spanish language.Ok.But lets imagine that my own console is setup for the Italy and italian language (for example). It would be logical that the small summary that you see when you enter 'A' it was in italian, but no,it shows in spanish (I think that its a small bug)
Edit: I see that I will had download the wiitdb.zip after setup the console in italian language for showing the resumes in italian, isnt it?

(2) If you press '1' for selecting the language for a concrete game you can select from a set of languages that actually they arent included in the game (its the same language ser for all the games). This is confusing,I think that you must be let choose ONLY between the languages that really the game includes.

Thx.

PD: Id like a only version for CFG USB Loader. It will be possible?

ive got a brain teaser for the cfg team i switched from a iomega 1tb to a 2tb toshiba and black ops and get this error setting up fragments 0 3 id mismatch [sce7e52 [] i can get u a screen shot if u need it after i hit a to continue it says setwbfs: -3

my setup is
4.2u
cios 222/223/249/250
cfg57-222

ive been racking my brain on this for 3 freaking days now ive deleted the game and reinstalled it 5 times is there something im missing let me know please ty in advance guys

Are you thinking to add an "Return to Loader" option in the loader General options ?
Because a lot of noobs don't know how to do it by editing the config file on they computer and to insert the "return_to_channel = channel-id" syntax

I think it can be very helpfull for a lot of people.
But for me it's not a problem

*Just an idea in searching what to add compared to all the others loaders*

(sorry for my bad english, I'm from belgium)

Your post is a little confusing "Italia country" = Italy, resume = summary. Can you Pm me so I can translate your situation properly.

They still need to intall the channel forwarder to be able to use that option.

I've been able to fix it, but wondering if anyone can tell me why I have to reinstall everything. It was all working earlier today and all of a sudden nothing would work, and it says I have the ios249 stub problem. I read the tutorial and changed the meta.xml file and reinstalled the latest rev into 247 and 248. Does anyone have any idea why it would stop all of a sudden for no reason, and now my 222 and 223 installs don't seem to be there (it just says it's a hub)?

I assume I need to reinstall those as well, but any ideas what could have happened where it would have all disappeared and just stopped working? I had previously updated to 65 and had no problems...

Have you inserted a retail disk in the Wii?

Greetings.

Sometimes I forget to dismount my ntfs disk, or system blocks a dismount, and you cant find any open file as reason
So I unplug the hdd, and get the message about not correct dismounted ntfs dhdd in cfg laoder

yes, i set it that restrictive in config.txt

i like this kind of security, but sometimes i know for sure, that nothing can be wrong on the hdd and i havend had a chance to dismount correctly

than i need to re-plug at pc, dismount correct and so on

I would like to see an option in such a case

not correctly dismounted ntfs hdd found
(A) reboot or switch medium ....the current existing menu
(B) take the risk and use the hdd and then use the hdd

i m sure i mnnot the only one sometimes forgetting the dismount but being sure that nothing bad could be with filesystem

So, something like, ntfs_write = askrecover Instead of ntfw_write = norecover
I'll add it to the todo.
In the meantime, you can use ntfs_write = 1 and let it recover if you trust the wii libntfs of course, but looks like it is quite stable afterall...

Yes

ask recover is a good idea

thanks for the hint, but as you have been always quite fast adding features, i will stay with current config and wait for a new loader version

Not recently, would that wipe out everything? I just thought it was really strange, a few hours before all working fine, and then everything was just a stub. I was able to run the HBC and reinstall all the 222, 223, 248, 249, etc., so I don't think the Wii was updated or anything of that nature.

It seems that you inserted a retail disk and would have HBC in version 1.0.7 or 1.0.8 and the disk upgrade doesnt delete it.For example, you have just installed cIOS but if you play with a disk with SM 4.2 or 4.3 it will make stub the cIOS again. However, the HBC it wont be deleted if it is in version 1.0.7 or 1.0.8.

Greetings.

You should disable Wii disc update and wii update by using either priiloader or startpatch

how can i get the covers to save to my HD in sted of my sd card.

1) You need to use a NTFS or FAT HDD.
2) Edit the config file or use the configurator to create one with the correct path for covers

QUOTE(steveg78 @ Feb 16 2011, 03:16 PM) and is it poss to read a wireless hd in configrable usb loader

Wireless HDD ?
Only USB or SD as I know !

After updating the wii if I put an original disc in and try to back it up onto hard drive it will not read the disc. Cfg USB Loader says that it reads it, but it says its not a wii disc. Any ideas how to fix this? This is the SysCheck report.

Does the System Menu still read it as a Wii Disc? I think that should be tried first, because if it doesn't maybe your disc is scratched or something...
