Will the cfg-loader ever be able to load homebrew apps ? That's when I can ultimately set priiloader to load CFG USB Loader on auto-boot.

None of the current developers are interested in adding that feature. Why not set home=HBC (or assign a different button, like button_2=HBC) so that you can exit from Cfg straight to the HBC?

Helllo Dr. Clipper,

can you integrate that the cfg Loader loads multigame Disk? When i have two inventories with the games on dvd R. As well as on hdd. So i can starts my Backups on the Wii from my friends over the dvd. Then i don´t take usb stick. This Funtkion would be great

One more thing... The "hbc" in those options should be lower case, so "home = hbc", "button_2 = hbc", etc.

My wonderful admin over at http://wii.spiffy360.com has made a list of all the themes that need the .rar file changed to .zip and it would be great if the original theme maker could do this and limit the work the admins have to do. Please review the list and if you are one of the theme makers, please log into your account and re-upload a .zip version of your theme so its compatible with the (soon to come) theme downloader.

apologies in advance if this is a stupid question ...I'm new, and have not seen this addressed anywhere else (which may mean noone wants this feature I suppose)

It appears to me that when I want to chose to use a specific IOS for loading a game, the options available include what flavour IOS it is ( i see options for 222-mload, 222-yal, etc)
i.e. it looks to be "hard coded" as to what flavour IOS is used....

I think a nice feature (if feasible) would be to remove the "hard coded" assumptions on what flavour IOS is a specific "slot" and to make it user configurable (with sensible defaults) or autodetected.

If I could tell the loader via config which IOS's "slots" I have available, and what flavour they are this would allow for more flexibility for me to have more IOS's in whatever "slots" I desire.

for example, if I wanted to I could install IOS's like this and have the option to use any of them in the loader
slot | base | flavour
IOS222 [38+37] hermes
IOS223 [38+60] hermes
IOS224 [57] hermes
IOS225 [60] hermes
IOS226 [38] hermes
IOS247 [60] waninkoko
IOS248 [37] waninkoko
IOS249 [57] waninkoko
IOS250 [38] waninkoko

The flavour isn't hard coded, just the slots that can be used. Thus, you can have a maximum of three flavours of Hermes' based IOSes and two Waninkoko flavours at any time. There are a lot of differences between these two IOSes, so you absolutely need to know which is there and it is not feasible to try to automatically check. I can't think of many cases where you would want more than two types of each IOS when it comes to USB Loading, anyway. Couple this with the fact you have to do some clever finagling with extra tools to utilise the slots not handled by the default IOS installers and you are getting into territory that really isn't worth looking into.

Thus, Cfg will continue to support only those slots supported by the IOS installers. If Hermes or Waninkoko decide to use more slots, we will support them, but not until then.

Edit: Just realised I misinterpreted what you meant by "flavour" (I assumed base IOS, you assumed creator), but still, the point stands.

I have a quick question: is Super Smash Bros Brawl 100% playable?

I noticed after two and a half years of only playing multiplayer that I can't play most of the videos from the subspace emissary. The game just crashes. Is it something screwed up on my Wii or is it the current state of reverse engineering we're in?

Yeah, those videos stuffing up is a classic sign that you installed from rev14 or rev 16 of IOS249. Delete the game, reinstall it from the original disc using IOS249 rev 19 or IOS222/223 as XFlak suggests, and it should all work, except the Masterpieces (the time-limited demos of VC games).

sorry for jumping in here, but i have just put pirates hunt for blackbeards booty onto the HD it's a PAL version and i am using a NTSC wii, i have tried to set it up to force NTSC but i still get the flickering screen, could somebody please help a father out and let me know what options to change to get the game to work.
Thankyou

Are there any current bugs with the latest 56 release?

Does installing games from disc to fat32 work properly?

Haven't used this loader in a long time and i want to make sure i get a stable version with the most basic functions like game install working properly.

Yes. This is the best loader to do that

Do you know if your TV can support PAL format?
