Hacking Configurable USB Loader

What does it mean to download game database?

So I tried the above method to convert all my iso to wbfs files and I put it on the root of my NTFS called F:WBFS\ The USB Loader can detect all my games correctly but the problem is when I try to load it. All it says for all my games is

Booting Wii game, please wait...
IOS(222) mload ..[NTFS]...

and it just stops at that and my Wii LED blinks blue 3 times every few seconds. Did I do something wrong? because I can't seem to figure out what to do.
Note: I already have Hermes CIOS 222/223 and IOS 249 Rev 17 Installed

What does it mean to download game database?
Go to the global options and select the download database option. That downloads the wiitdb.zip file for your chosen language to the base directory of the loader. You could also install that file manually or with the Configurator if you like. THe database stores info about the games like number of players, genre and synopsis.

Try using the -fat .dol if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, reinstall IOS222, deleting the one that was there first with AnyTitle Deleter. Your problem sounds like what happens when your IOSes have been stubbed.

I tried using the -fat.dol but no matter what I do it doesn't detect my usb HDD. It goes mounting device please wait.. then 30 seconds and error! (ret = -1)
It works on the plain dol but not the fat one.
Also I tried removing IOS222 and reinstalling it but I still get the same problem.

Well, I have heard of drives that only like IOS249, but hadn't seen one yet (I've seen plenty that go the other way). Looks like you might be part of the unlucky few. You are sure you are using v4 of IOS222, right? If you are unsure, then follow these instructions.

Well I finally got it to work although I don't know what I really did. I downloaded cIOS222/223 from somewhere else and it worked perfectly. The one I downloaded before was called cios_installer_port1 which I thought was v4 since it says it was on the title but perhaps it was something else. I just downloaded the one on your link you showed me and it worked fine so thanks for all your help

The one you downloaded is specially made to support the other USB port on the Wii, explaining why it failed.

they NOT trimm result ISO ? How-to using wbfs_file reduce ISO size (I need ISO, not WBFS) - scrubbed/trimmed/etc WITHOUT using sparse attribute ? I using WIIScrubber before, however they not support command-line interface (I have lot of ISO images) and not all trimmed/scrubbed ISO working after they processing. Using wbfs_file I can create small WBFS files, but can't ISO

You can't view the numbers in the loader, you can only sort by them. If you want to see what the values are, or change them, use the Configurator. The values that are tracked are number of plays and last played time, BTW.

I don't believe it can do what you want. What are you trying to achieve?

Those are the default values for those options. You shouldn't have needed to change them.My bad I missed "Download Game Database", I misread it "Download Game Title" that's why I couldn't find it first.
I removed those lines in my config.txt and it works great without it, you're right.

I hope it will come some day with localization

Thanks for the tip but I like game info, pressing + to launch DVD backup (and not only dump) would be great (I forgot 2 was used for favourite).

Here you can find a fully working forwarder for CFG USB Loader. This forwarder is working with the new Priiloader, too. It was made by baduncle. Hope you can add this to your 1st Post, because Narolez forwarder doesn't work with Priiloader anymore.

PS: Whats about channel animations by reading the opening.bnr from the game iso? Is that possible in future maybe?

About banner animations, that is not a new idea in fact it is mentioned already in the FAQ. However the question is not if it is possible - it obviously is possible if you can see them on wii, the question is who will implement such a feature? I can say that I won't.
