move_files.sh does rename all .iso files in a folder if you change it a bit, see my previous post about it.
About the compressed files error: How much is your drive fragmented? I didn't test compressed files, yet but this is an error which also occours if your dirve is too much fragmented.
I m on windows, so i cant use the sh file, isnt it?

Drive is nearly unfragmented (very good defrag tool

)

BTW ntfs compressed my files are 1.02TB, uncompressed 2,01TB
maybe this gives a hint, why I like to keep them ntfs compressed, still able to use wiiscrubber (extract channels, wads and so on) or burning tools, my brothers wii is chipped and he dislikes softmodding

How often do I have to tell these NTFS-compressed-file-lovers that that sparse-iso files have the same size as compressed iso files? Just amke sparse .iso fiels from your isos with wbfs_file, you can keep your 2TB of warez on the drive as 1TB and still play them and also directly burn them and use wii scrubber. Read the damn thread ChaosEnergy.
And as you are on Windows you can use the .bat file instead of the .sh file (yes the one with the same name but with .bat at the ending, I also wrote this on one of the last three pages, is it to much to read at least the last few pages?)

Keep cool man...

I read last 50 pages, maybe I overlooked that post
so it would be easier to point to the posting instead of getting aggressive

also if it gets asked often..why not putting it in 1st post...

Love the Configureable USB Loader , wondering if there is a place to download the 3d covers
in a complete upto date set ? Thanks for your time Bud

Looks Nice, you might want to start your own topic, it may get more attention.

I will probably do that when the app is complete. This originally started out just as a small GUI for wbfs_file and has been growing ever since. I can't believe how many requests ppl have for things

I really really really hope that your GUI manager can do the following :

1. Format WBFS drive
2. Based on wbfs_file.exe. Executing wbfs_file.exe rather than writing your own code. (i.e. being GUI as core)
3. Transfer : ISO -> WBFS drive -> ISO
4. Transfer : ISO -> .wbfs -> WBFS drive -> .wbfs -> ISO
5. Selection like "Games not on drive ..."

There are more to suggest, but the above are the basics.

Thanks you very much indeed.

P.S. I know that being GUI base may limit some functions (like some drive-to-drive transfers), but this make the manager more reliable.

move_dirs.bat script has trouble to run, if it is contained in a folder with a space in name
also it runs into trouble if file name contain character's like !

There is a limit, but you have not hit it. Not sure what the error is, but its not due to ntfs itself:

Ok, I'm having some issues and if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

I've been using a drive formatted wbfs for awhile and its been working great, but I wanted to try ntfs so I didn't have to use wbfs manager to load games on and off.

Now as I understand it, I should be able to format the drive ntfs, drop my games into the wbfs folder (wbfs files) and play with the newest Cfg USB loader.

For some reason though the loader is freezing on the splash screen. I've formatted a couple times, both fast and slow formats, and it's still doing it and I cant figure out why.

Just out of curiosity what is the limit on games on a partition?
is there a limit the Configurable USB Loader will read? Thanks Bud

Ok, I figured it out.

Apparently the windows format tool was the problem. I reformatted using the HP disk formatter and everything is peachy now.

Big thanks to all the programmers who made the cfg usb loader possible!
