While cios249 is based on ios 36
The 249 and 222 are just some numbers that waninkoko and hermes selected.
But to answer the original question, no, it is not possible to install hermes cios 222 as 249. and even if you did (by changing the source), it would not work, as it requires also the mload modules to operate properly.
Um, why? The position you install it at is just a number.TeenTin said:See. Thank you.
But this is a pity, because Herme's 222 is better than Waninkoko's 249 in every aspects (except the speed of installing games). It would be more convenient to install it as 249.

Most applications tend to use 249.
Vidtv apparently messes up some games, and it is only needed for Japanese games in my experience. Patching the other stuff shouldn't really hurt. Besides, you can change them and save them if a game doesn't work for you.meankeys said:Hi All?
Yes this is truly a great loader. Thank you
I kind of miss the info at the bottom when option 1 is press from the flow screen.
It read number of games and size on disk + disk size.
Ensure your theme.txt has "disable_footer=0" at the end and it will be back.
Oh, it might only appear in the console screen and not the options screen, though. Push B at the GUI rather than 1.
QUOTEHere’s a question Does it hurt to have all the settings set if not needed?
Vid patch = on
Vidtv = on
Region = on
Most of my games are PAL and US and I am running on a US NTSC system.
All seems fine just wonderingif it’s doing anything it should be. Of course Alt Dol not set. Only needed for a few games. Nice feature
Thanks guy’s keep up the great work

you have 576i mode, right?scrotty said:Are there any options that can be changed to alter the intro screen? Mine is showing with a thick black bar across the bottom as though the aspect ratio is wrong - can this be changed at all?

A quick google of "USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder.rar" brought Sharebee Links - follow the RapidShare link.orion2001 said:Could someone point me to a link to a good channel forwarder for this (SD)? The link on the first post:

Hi Ramzee. Sorry, I should have mentioned: I did find those links but they seem to be for an older version of USBloaderCFG as the forwarder points to a different directory than the one used currently. I think the latest release of USBLoaderCFG is supposed to check multiple locations for added compatibility but the sharebee one seems to be an older version that only checks sd:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol. See the bit below:
QUOTE
- ID: UCXF
- Region Free
- Trying to load CFG USB Loader from different paths, the load order is:
1. sd:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol
2. sd:/apps/usbloader/boot.dol
3. usb:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol
4. usb:/apps/usbloader/boot.dol
Thanks a lot Dr. Clipper. It worked like a charm! Is there any reason I might want to switch back to Narolez's forwarder once it comes back up?Dr. Clipper said:While we wait for Narolez to fix the link, you can use zektor's hybrid channel which is a hybrid full channel which also forwards if a forwarding location is found: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=147...t&p=2256508
