cfg v31c (bug fixes / minor improvements)

- option gui=start will switch to gui directly after device init, without first displaying the game list in console mode
With this switch set, I still get the console view showing up while the drive initialises albeit with no games listed. Is it likely that in future releases it would be possible to boot directly into GUI mode without having the console view shown at all?

@anyone:

I'm trying to change the console text color for game list when not selected.

Theme config.txt:

color_inactive = 7

What I'm I doing wrong?

oggzee, just asking... is it posible to add DVD backups compatibility for the dumping process? I care about this 'cause i have many friends that have good games, but burned into DVD-R's (and my PC's download speed is too slow).

P.D.: this loader is amazing, =D!

Emm, what?
By dump you mean install to hdd?
As far as I know it installs games from DVD-R just fine.
Or is there some other problem?

Well, it just keeps saying the typical "Not a Wii DVD" error, =(. I'm using the cIOS rev12 by Waninkoko... Could you help me out?

Would someone help me, :/?

You might have to rip isos from the backups onto your computer, then to your hard drive. Sounds like work, but someone might have a better solution.

quick question, will this write to a 1 tetrabyte drive? is there no limit to the size it will read and write to?

Yes, you can format and nearly fill a 1TB drive, the limit is not partition size, it's the number of games. The maximum is 500 games per WBFS partition.

I believe the limit is really 1000 files, which translates to 500 games (I guess there are 2 files/folders per game?), but if you add other things to the WBFS partition the number of games allowed can be less.

I suggest you first try ripping frm DVD-R with another USB loader to make sure it isn't your Wii setup.

But, is it possible to implement that compatibility into the loader? I hope it is... The proccess in the PC is too large and takes a-lot of time; maybe if, in some way, we would force the Loader to use the cIOS, so it can temporaly load the data from the game (like the BL), and then, dump it to the USB unit, :/ (don't pay attention to me; i don't know what am i talking about, ._.). If you, oggzee, can do this, take this comment as a suggestion, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

might be a dense question. i set it to download missing covers and it did which was great. guitar hero world tour isn't there though, so i downloaded a cover for it in 130x225 from the otherzone.com and placed it in sd:/usb-loader/covers in the same naming convention as the other games - but it still isn't showing up. am i doing something wrong?
if i manually try to download the cover in the '1' menu, it says invalid png (which incidentally is what it says on theotherzone.com when i try to download the 16:9 cover...

The cover for SXAP52.png is a JPEG. Open it in Photoshop or whatever you use and save it as a PNG and it'll probably fix it. And if it does, let the guys at that site know so they can fix it.

Make it your last option. It might be changed again by one of your other settings later on in config.txt.
