I notice that in your code you seem still to use 225 pixels high for covers ?

EDIT: OUPS this line is commented, so I assume it is not true.

Is it bad to use 224 pixels high covers ? Is it possibly the source of delay I noticed previously ?

- In 3D cover mode, the loader still uses the 2D "noimage.png" when a cover is not available (have only Obscure 2 without a 3D cover, all others were available), even though there is a 3D noimage.png in covers/3d directory. I copied over the 3d version from "covers/3d" to "covers" directory to solve this, but it still uses a 2D cover?

Some kind of integrated image? Why doesn't it use the noimage.png?

when the download site has no 3d cover, they give you 2D noimage.png cover with name - gameID.png
I think it's a sever problem...
The owner of the server needs to change it.

for example ; http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/3d/160/224/RLSP8P.png check it , you can see 2D noimage cover.

Yes 225 are used by default. 224 can be used if you use a custom url. But with 225 the image is sharper. I don't know why would you want to use 224 px height covers? And no, the delay is related to the large number of image files you have, not image size.

Because the USB Iso Loader uses this size (multiple of 4). I assume that they use a different library than you. I have many covers of this size to avoid to download them and to add the missing ones. But don't worry I resize them with a batch code with ImageMagick.

ok.

Yeah okay, I already thought that - not that big problem with the cover though. Enough easy "workarounds" to use until it may be fixed by the server.

Since upgrading from cfg20 to 21, I am now getting code dumps when I try and download a cover. This is with both my wired lan adapter and wireless. I am using the default config with it.

I'll try.

it seems like a net_ini issue... i think that it has already been reported posts earlier.

Is there a solution for that?

Strange. Does it happen with some specific game, or any game?
Does it happen if you select download all?
Has anyone else encountered this?
It works fine for me

Example of how the transparent console in the latest version (cfg22) looks like:

28l86k4.jpg

config.txt options used:

wbackground=Stars_Kosaic_16x9.png
layout=kosaic
console_transparent=1

Background is Stars_Kosaic_16x9.png by Kosaic. (widescreen)
(@Kosaic: Can you make a 4:3 version too?)

Hmm, and it would be nice if someone makes one with the default background, something easy, nothing too flashy.
I don't know what would I put there..

Just curious if there's an option to get rid of the box in the console and have only the text showing in black?
I'd like to have only the text showing and not have the transparent part covered up by a big black box... if you get what I mean?

QUOTE(dodol @ Apr 19 2009, 02:31 AM)
oogzee, does wii support transparent text box ?

It took a while, but it's done.

is that the one that comes by default Oggzee..??

No, you have to download the background image from here:

http://usob.cjb.net/

And use the config options specified above.

If I get a matching 4:3 background too, I'll probably include it in one of the next releases.
Or if I get with an interesting alternative matching the current default.
